I used to love this place. The last few trips have been unpleasant but today was actually bad. Husband ordered chicken rice soup and it had the most foul flavor and looked so unappealing.I ordered lobster bisque which previous was always good. I was informed after our appetizer was eaten that my soup is still defrosting and would be at least 10 more minutes. I was fine waiting and it was served hot but absolutely not one piece of lobster. Our server was nice hence the extra star.

My husband and I were craving lobster rolls and this came up as highly recommended! You can place orders through their website but for some reason it doesn’t allow you to choose the time and automatically defaults to as soon as possible. I placed our order and called the restaurant to have it made it a little later and they gave us no issues. We ordered the Ahi tuna appetizer, the lobster roll, fries and mac & cheese. The Ahi tuna nachos were delicious and were definitely a great surprise! The lobster rolls were also delicious! The bread was perfect it was very flavorful and the fries were made perfectly! The biggest letdown was the mac & cheese. It was very underseasoned, and had basically no taste at all. Definitely needed more cheese. Overall I would definitely give this place another try and will be returning for more lobster rolls in the future!

Previously, I gave them a decent review. Unfortunately, that’s not the case this time. We were seated and waited over 20 minutes before my wife got up and asked if we could get some service. The waitress explained they had forgotten all about us and took our entire order. Another 15 minutes went by, and we didn’t even get our drinks. We got up and walked out. My wife explained to the two girls up front why we were leaving, and it was like 2 deer in the headlights. They just didn’t care and let us leave without saying anything. That must have been the low IQ shift because all three of those girls were severely incompetent.

I’ve been to the location in Lemont at least 2 dozen times. The food is mediocre, at best. I still go, just to support local business. Last week I visited as I had a gift card to use. As per usual, the restaurant had its odd sewer smell and I felt like the staff there was tolerating us ( not very friendly). When it came time to pay the bill, the waitress told us the gift card wasn’t working. She didn’t say the card had a zero balance she just said it wasn’t working. She also said it was old. It was from 2019-2020 ish but there should have been a 25 dollar balance. I asked her to check again with the manager. The waitress came back and said they could not do anything. The manager should have come to the table to tell us the card was “defective” and try to find a solution for this problem instead of just sending the waitress back to our table. If Iwere the manage, I would have covered the dessert we ordered or at least visit us at our table to discuss the situation. I was there with my husband and 2 children and I think that sometimes you can talk with the customers to help resolve a dilemma such as this. So, thank you, to the manager who just sealed my decision to NOT have to support this sewer-smelling, poor- service, mediocre food local business EVER AGAIN! I will share my experience with my local Lemont friends and let them decide whether they ever need to visit again. I was being nice continuing my visits to this establishment but I am done.
