We are a high-quality barbecue in an ultra-relaxed setting, situated near a picturesque golf course. If that’s not the recipe for a good time, we don’t know what is. Featuring a robust menu of signature smoked meats, craft beers, full service bar and other barbecue favorites, we are an instant classic — not only with the nearby golfers, but with families, couples and other resort-goers looking to kill anywhere from 15 minutes to 4 hours. YUM!!! This will definitely be one of our new go-to’s in Midway/Heber for delicious food! Our family ordered the Smokehouse Pizza with brisket and double bacon (the pickled jalapeños just made it perfect!), the Margherita Pizza, the S’mores Pizza, and sides of sweet potato fries and Mac n’ Cheese. The wood fired crust was so, so good with all of these pizzas! And the sweet potato fries might be my new favorite – soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, and just the right amount of sea salt! We got our food to go (hence my photos of half eaten boxed food) and did wait about 15 -20 minutes, but the food was so delicious I would wait that long again! Well done, 1886 Grill!

Very good restaurant to go to, very nice and tidy and all the service was very good. I saw the busser do a very good job cleaning the tables and making sure everything was sanitary and ready for the next customers. Food was very well done, will definitely be coming back

This place is great! Lots of golf courses overlook food options and this place does not. Best burger I’ve had on a golf course no doubt, but almost best burger I’ve ever had. Anjie at the bar was great! Really friendly and took care of everyone there! Highly recommend.

A group of 6 after a great day in Midway were excited to try the new restaurant early afternoon. Prices are way to high for what you get. Horrible experience! The service was horrendously slow. They were out of chicken. One order of fries was still frozen in the middle. After numerous requests for an order of Mac and cheese, the server told us they were out and brought about 2 Tablespoons of mush like stuff. Could not get a refill on our beverages. They were not very busy, so no reason for the bad experience. We will not be back.

Management needs to step it up. There was one lovely waitress making drinks and serving the entire patio. The other workers appeared to be doing a lot of standing around. Whole patio full and just waiting. Over 60min ticket times. Food was just okay particular given the prices. Everything a la carte. We were so excited to have something new in town. Hoping they’ll support it better so we can change our review in the future.

Had the opportunity to enjoy this newer restaurant earlier this evening. Judy, our waitress was extremely polite and helpful with the popular orders and some of her favorites. The pizzas were amazing, we tried two of them. The Nutella dessert pizza was very good as well. This will be one of our out of town favorites for sure.

We ate at 1886 for the first time, the food was amazing! Especially the slow-cooked brisket, wood fire pizza and pine nut kale salad. Fresh, homemade, scrumptious and lovely outdoor setting! We’re coming again for sure!
