I am perfectly willing to make a 400 mile round trip drive to the middle of nowhere to visit and eat this food. Every single thing here is amazing. The trip is a pilgrimage for me and I have converted others to my Cajun religion

Such a cool place. Everytime I go I see something new. Cajun food and atmosphere. The alligator is good. My kids love the bead necklaces that are all over the place. Wish I lived closed so we could go more often.

I have a greatest LSU fan at home. He loves everything about Louisiana and looks for authentic food when we go to a new place. We drove from Indianapolis just for this place. Nice entertaining and delightful atmosphere. They represent New Orleans style eccentric art with details of Louisiana.

Unbelievably fun place. The food was phenomenal and entirely unique, the drinks were great, but the best part is how kind everyone is. Some of the nicest servers I’ve ever met worked there. Can’t wait to go back.

Great atmosphere, food was good, not a huge variety. Staff is quirky, especially the tin foil hat.

This was an amazing experience! I have never enjoyed Cajun food, that is until now. Zydeco’s has changed all of that. We had the blackened cat. Catfish is typically mushy, kinda your cheaper fish. But Zydeco’s transforms it into a gourmet meal with their blackened catfish. We ordered the extra crawfish tails, which covers the Catfish. The meal comes with the most delicious jambalaya you could ever imagine. They make and smoke their own sausage and smoke their own jambalaya as well. We could not stop talking about the Flavor even hours after we left. We also received a little education on Cajun food, such as Northern Louisiana jambalaya is made with more of a tomato base making it more red, the further south you go their jambalaya is brown, as is Zydeco’s. It is a little pricey, but as the saying goes, “you get what you pay for!” It’s funny, we had a choice between Zydeco’s & a fancy steak house, we decided to try something different. We chose Zydeco’s & was so glad we did. If I am going to spend a lot of money on a meal Zydeco’s wins over steak every time. By the way much less expensive than the steak & in no way could the steak compare in flavor! They had a great family atmosphere. The staff was all kind and very considerate and very helpful in menu choices. We also had gator bites and frog legs, which were delicious, but the food was so good that those paled in comparison. We also ordered hurricane drinks, which were delicious. So, with the extras, it is really what made the dinner more pricey. Otherwise affordable, especially when compared to a steak dinner, which, as I have already stated, does not come close to the flavors Zydeco’s offered.

Jambalaya and the crawfish Poboy was really good. And they make a great hurricane with three different types of rum. So many flavors at this restaurant………..

To start our waitress was incredible. I’m assuming though that anyone that enjoys eating here has never had Cajun food. I ordered jambalaya and my rice was so mushy that it felt like whipped mashed potatoes. My wife ordered crawfish étouffée and it had ZERO flavor. Our bread was not only cold but we are almost 100% sure part of it was frozen. I would definitely recommend going somewhere else for good Cajun food.

Fantastic Food, great staff, atmosphere is just right. This place does not disappoint. A jewel in Mooresville. Definitely a must have if you are craving Cajun. I had the Jolie Blond Pasta, gator bites, BBQ shrimp, death by chocolate cake and bourbon pecan pie.

It could be me but I got the street shrimp with a salad, the salad wasn’t much but a small plate of lettuce a few peppers and 2 onion rings. The shrimp and potatoes tasted like they were thawed out and microwaved. For the price we could have gotten something a bit better. Will kindly not come back. Everyone else I was with but 1 other liked it if that counts for something.
