This restaurant offers a fantastic variety of appetizers, entrees, and drinks that are sourced from local food producers. The atmosphere is great, and the staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring that you have a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. Additionally, parking is available either on the street or in a nearby garage, and the restaurant provides a token for the garage. However, the only downside is that it is a bit expensive. Despite this, if you are looking for a great restaurant with excellent local food, top-notch service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this restaurant is definitely worth checking out.

I have heard so many great things about ZINC, and after finally getting the chance to eat there, I can see why! All of the food was delicious and fresh: so many bright colors with amazing presentation. I ate here with family so I was able to try a variety of items, and I would argue that the duck nachos were the best. Our waitress was also very attentive and kind. She was able to make several food and drink recommendations when some of my family couldn’t decide on what to order or what paired well together. The restaurant was also very clean, which I appreciate. It is rather pricey here, but the food, service and atmosphere make it worth it!

I took a chance and brought my wife to Zinc for mother’s day. My wife and I were totally impressed. The staff was polite, courteous and attentive. Always checking on us and refilling our water glass and cleaning table. The dining area and bar was clean, modern looking and gorgeous. The food was just plain amazing. As a special they brought out smoked blue fish with caviar on a cucumber slice. Also some bread with a spicy dipping sauce. I had a steak and my wife had lamb. It was the best steak I ever had. Also had desert and a cappuccino. Cappuccino was best I ever had. I was so impressed with this place and the food.We talked about how good it was the next morning. Reminiscing over coffee. The only downside is it’s in New Haven. Parking will be a challenge. Also, walking to the restaurant you will be approached and stalked by all kinds of individuals. Lastly, don’t bring your 5 year old here. This is an adult time place. And don’t think you will be leaving with a bill under 100 dollars. This is a high end restaurant. You are looking at just under 300 dollars per couple with a tip. This includes appetizer, drinks, meal and dessert. Enjoy.

What an amazing place. My wife and I had our first-anniversary dinner here. June (2023). We were in the special back section for the occasion. Amazing food, amazing wine selection, great service, and had a wonderful time. The smoke duck nachos are a must-have!!!

Absolutely delicious food and great service! The lobster pasta was amazing, it was a large portion of fresh pasta with lots of lobster in a tasty sauce. And we loved all the appetizers. The kung pao cauliflower was very savoury and flavorful. The dumplings were served in a delicious sauce. The duck nachos had fried wontons instead of the regular tortilla chips and I definitely recommend it. They also have a great selection of wines.
