Zig Zag is an awesome place for an intimate dinner experience with a jazzy atmosphere and lights down low. They have an amazing happy hour with an extensive lineup of house cocktails. I need to go back frequently to see if they’re all as good as the Smoke and Mirrors. Appetizers were wonderful, especially the truffle fries, the flank steak was perfect, and the flourless chocolate tort was spectacular. Plenty of gluten free and vegan options too. Definitely a do again.

The Zig Zag Café, which is nestled on the lower levels of Pike Place Market on the way to the piers, offers jazz music a few nights a week. I stopped in to listen, take-in the vibe and have something to eat. The café is a small intimate space perfect for listening to and watching jazz. I was intrigued by the Savory Sage Bread Pudding, which was made with sherry mushroom cream sauce, wild mushroom and parmesan cheese. The dish came to the table boiling hot, too hot in fact. I had to wait 15 minutes before I could safely take a bite. Once it cooled down, I enjoyed the depth of flavors…the creamy sauce, the savory mushrooms and bread. It was delicious! The service and music were good.

We really enjoyed this cafe after going to a performance at the Moore Theater. The cocktails were delicious, the atmosphere was festive without being overwhelming, and the leather booths made it cozy and comfy. The food was good but the appetizers were what shined the most, IMHO. Cocktails are well-balanced and unique

Excellent establishment. Spent a lovely Valentine’s weekend in Seattle. Best food and service received during my stay in the downtown area. Atmosphere was a little dark but overall great place for cocktails, food, and service. Appetizers were top notch. Highly recommend.

While I didn’t eat food, Eli & Erin were awesome!!! Hidden gem, they play some jazz Sun-Tues. Walked in one random Sunday night after the Seahawks beat the Rams just to be pleasantly surprised by the nice ambiance and music that was playing. Highly recommend for some chill vibes, definitely can’t miss this. Will come back next time I visit!!!
Edit: No rating on food as I did not eat here, but will say they were VERY attentive even when I did not eat, still highly recommend!!!

Made reservations for 5 pm with no issues. Was seated immediately. They had a wide selection of great drinks to choose from. I got the “I’m with Yuzu,” it was amazing! We also ordered the deviled eggs, which were good, and the garlic rolls, which were just okay. I got the burger, and it was good, but my partner got the lamb, and it was excellent. Prices seemed reasonable, but they added a 21% surcharge on top of tax and gratuity. I suppose they want you to think it is less than it is, but I would rather they raise their prices. I would come again, but probably just for drinks and an appetizer. The atmosphere was incredible, I loved the jazz music and wish we could have stayed for the live music (8–10 pm). I will definitely be back.

Zig Zag cafe is nice. The menu has a.some great range and offers something for everyone. I tried th Eggs, Oysters and the Steak. Each were strong for sure. Id say the local oysters were a hit and that flat iron steak was awesome. So beefy. Came with broccolini, spuds, and Onions.

Would give 10 stars if I could! Almost want to gatekeep this place, but it’s just too good not to share. The drinks and food are always delicious – highly recommend the martinis, or any custom order from the bar, bartender Elias is an expert.
Great vibes, friendly staff, always a fantastic time. Thank you!!

Zig Zag is a must go every time I’m in Seattle. Being one of the places that started the craft cocktail push years ago, this place makes the absolute best drinks. The bartenders are knowledgeable on all things spirits, and can point you in any direction you’re looking to go for a cocktail. I can’t speak to the majority of the food menu since I usually always get the burger whenever I’m there – and for good reason – this is by far the best burger in town, and always cooked to perfection in your requested doneness. The last time I was there I was recommended by the bartender to get the cantaloupe and agave sorbet, and it was absolute divine! The atmosphere is low-light red, and perfect for a date night, or a solo mosey up to the bar for dinner or a night cap. Don’t hesitate to come here!

Good place for cocktails, but not for food. We only liked oysters, burrata cheese, and duck breast.
Their deviled eggs were too salty, with spices in the sauce killing the taste of eggs. Flat Iron steak was just bland flavor. And pork ribs were the worst, tasted like old meat, boiled and glazed with BBQ sauce.
Reservations are highly recommended as this place gets packed quickly.
