Had such a wonderful experience!!!! I came here because of the high reviews and now I understand why is the highest rated Italian restaurant in Little Italy. I got the pasta prepared in the Parmesan cheese wheel, made in front of the table with black truffle sprinkled on top. It was mind blowing. Silky, velvety, delicious. The Bolognese is very light, the chicken Maria was excellent including the veal Parmesan. Highly recommend! Staff was extremely friendly and drinks are very generous!

Probably the best food I have ever put in my mouth!! And that’s coming from a southern country boy that likes his southern comfort food! We ate here on our NYC trip and it was so good we came back a 2nd time before the trip was over!! Best lobster ravioli and lasagna ever, hands down!! Don’t know how often I will find myself in NYC but if I do, this will always be a stop on our list!!

Always enjoy going to Little Italy on NYC trips, but this was hands-down the best meal I’ve ever had in the area. New York was generally packed for Christmas, but the service was fantastic. Very efficient, but personable and they were even able to see us a little bit early ahead of our reservation.

And the Pesto Gnocchi was truly one of a kind…highly recommend!

We were seated and had our orders taken immediately. Place was fully packed so we were a bit cramped. The food arrived promptly and was fresh and delicious, pasta was homemade and lobster ravioli was geniuine. I am deducting a star from a five star review as waiter that took our payment didn’t say anything after we paid and tipped, no thank you or have a good night nor asked if we wanted a receipt. Rest of the staff was polite and helpful.

We were looking for something to eat in a restaurant rather than trying some of the delicious looking street food whilst walking around the Festival of Gennaro, which is held along and around Mulberry Street in Little Italy.
As I couldn’t be bothered to read Google reviews on the multitude of restaurants around I relied on the old fashion method of seeing which were the busiest ones and we chose to eat at Zia Maria, which turned out to be a very good choice.
As there were no tables available on the pavement or at the front of the restaurant we were shown to a table at the back. We ordered a couple bottles of refreshing cold Peroni beer, which we enjoyed with some complimentary light, fresh, fluffy bread with a tangy balsamic vinegar & olive oil.
My wife enjoyed what she said was one of her best pizzas, a Salsiccia pizza with sweet Italian sausage, arugula, pomadoro, mozzarella & Parmesan. The meat was delicious and the pizza dough was light & crisp with just the right amount of stretch. She ordered another bottle of Peroni with her meal, which was the perfect accompliment.
I enjoyed a fabulous plate of Linguni Fra Diavolo pasta with shrimp & calamari in spicy tomato sauce. The prawns & calamari were very fresh and not over cooked and the rich sauce was delicious with a real depth of flavour
The staff were very friendly and efficient and we really enjoyed our meal in this funky restaurant which cost us a total $115

We tried the sea pasta, delicious, we recommend it!

Thanks to Verano, Lisa and Karina for their attention, they explained with details all the process of cooking.

This was our 2nd time for 2 of us and new for the other 2. We specifically came back as one was dreaming of their lobster ravioli from 10 months ago. She said it matched expectations and wished we could come more often. We are from out of town. The truffle mushroom risotto was outstanding as well as the chicken francese.

Asked Chat Gpt what was the best pasta in Little Italy, and did not disappoint. One of the best carbonaras I’ve ever had in the States. Pizza was really good too. Host was very nice and attentive. Gratuity was already included for 2.

This was my 2nd time visiting. Uncle took great care of me. I always enjoy the homemade pasta, service and atmosphere. The Riesling was amazing and the restaurant doubles as a wonderful place for families and date night. Can’t wait to bring the rest of my family the next time. 10/10 recommend.

The atmosphere was amazing along with our waiter. As a Texan who knows what a steak should taste like, the steak was amazingly cooked. You can taste the quality of the food. I can’t say enough and definitely when back in town we will be back!
