This is one of our favorite restaurants in Tyler. Everything is so good. An order of the yellow curry sauce is the best soup I have ever eaten. Usually for me a level two spice is pretty spicy.

We went on a Sunday night for our 1st time. Loved the food, atmosphere with low lighting, and jazz music. Told Thursdays they have a live band play. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, and super helpful. He suggested a spice level of 2 to start (can pick 1-5) and he was spot on. I like some heat and a 2 was definitely enough where you could feel it on your tongue so it gets spicy quick. I had the yellow curry with talapia, delicious and vietnamese iced coffee. We had the crab rangoons which were so good and light. My hubby enjoyed the house fried rice with chicken, beef, and shrimp.

The appetizers were decent. Main dishes had the right components and spices, their chicken is good quality and the flavor was right. I was disappointed by the quality of cooking technique though. The potatoes and carrots in the curry were undergone so I couldn’t eat them.

I’m only putting a low star review here to get the owners attention.
We love this place, and bring our family of 9 here once a month regularly to have dinner! Usually, the service is top notch, and the food is delicious! But….. today, a Sunday, the service was terrible. I brought a friend visiting from out of state, to share this place with her. The server(Linay) brought our appetizer, and told me they did not have any appetizer plates available, so we made due. When she brought out my Tom Kha soup, which was delicious, she also told us that she had no soup spoons to give us….. for our soup!!! When I asked why, she stated that they were not clean, but she would bring them out as soon as they were…. you guessed it, she never did! I watched her eat at the counter, visit with the other wait staff, play on her phone, and even show pictures to another customer on her phone.
It was embarrassing to take a friend here and have that kind of service, after I had raved about how great a restaurant it was!
Just thought the owner should know. That kind of service can break a restaurant.
I’m attaching a photo of how busy the restaurant was when they apparently had no dishes or soup spoons..

I eat Thai food at many Thai Restaurant. And this place is far from “authentic” Thailand’s flavor as they claimed.
Server was not attentive / care about serving customers.
If you are at Tyler , Chiangmai Thai Kitchen is much better.

Been coming here for years. Amazing food, great price, amazing atmosphere, and great staff. Will always be a loyal customer. Great place to pick up and go, and great place to sit in and eat.

What a cute restaurant! Loved how esthetically pleasing it is! To start we ordered the Thai salad rolls, loved how refreshing these were and I enjoyed the peanut sauce as well. We also ordered what they call “money bags” and it was just deep fried wontons which were also really good and tasty. The food was good, I ordered the pineapple fried rice with chicken, the flavor was there, it was a little overcooked in my opinion but besides that, delicious.

To drink we had jasmine tea, and enjoyed the good vibes this little place brings. The staff was sweet and will, of course be back soon.

Delicious all the way. I had a tofu pad Thai and it’s some of the best I’ve had in Tyler. My husband had their green curry with a level 3 spice and he also enjoyed it. Seasoned well.

Service was great even though they are busy!

I’ve also doordashed their yellow curry with chicken and some sticky rice and that was amazing.

Coming into the restaurant it was clean and the atmosphere is really nice.

Here’s my honest review of ZaZa Thai.

I knew I had to try this place after seeing quite a few good reviews. Although I saw some bad ones as well, I knew I still wanted to see for myself.

I want start out by saying that I absolutely love the vibe from the moment you walk in, especially all the different decorations, furniture, and the lighting.

I went through their massive menu, which was very nicely done. I really like that there’s tons of pictures of just about every dish they serve.

We ordered 2 appetizers (Vietnamese spring roll and the fried shrimp roll), as well as sesame chicken with fried rice.

My wife enjoyed the spring roll. I never got to try it myself, so I can’t speak on that. The shrimp that came in my shrimp roll was way overcooked. The wonton wrap was also a bit overcooked, but not too bad. The sweet and sour sauce that came with it was actually pretty good.

The chicken in the sesame chicken wasn’t bad at all. Unfortunately the sesame sauce itself tasted like some store bought sauce.

I think the thing that disappointed me the most was my “fried” rice. Like, was the fryer in the room with us? I swear there wasn’t anything fried about that rice. I asked for no veggies in the rice and told the waiter that I still wanted the egg. They definitely didn’t put the veggies in there, but they also didn’t put my egg . If I’m paying $2 extra, I want my rice fried lol.

I honestly plan on going back soon, seeing as they have what seems like an endless amount of choices (as seen in the pics below). Also, the prices seem pretty fair to me.

One thing to keep in mind. Aside from the overcooked shrimp and the not so fried rice, everything else is just my opinion and I encourage everyone to formulate their own.

New to the area, and lovers of Thai food, we were very pleased to find ZaZa Thai! Ordered take-out and we LOVED IT!!
Love the online order, where you can customize your proteins, preference on rice and spice level. Very efficient tool for ordering. We love spice and a level 3 was GREAT…. so be aware if you opt for 4 or 5.
When we arrived for pick-up, we were greeted by friendly staff. They apparently are a rather new restaurant and they said that they want to hear how they are doing. Well, you did amazing! Prices are good and portions are larger than most. We easily have two meals in one order. We opted for Pad Thai Chicken, Red Curry with Chicken and Jasmine Rice and Thai Basil (also with chicken).
Their menu is HUGE, and you could literally try something new each time. We will be back ZaZa…thank you!!!
