Another fabulous breakfast with gourmet food, fantastic, friendly service, and a warm, cozy area inside to enjoy the offering. BONUS DAY: this morning, they even had live music! A band from Missouri called Skipping Stones is playing.
Enjoy life and live in the moment over at Paonia Bread Works. Buy a loaf of sourdough, and they can even slice it for you.

Charming and delicious! There aren’t tons of options in Paonia for a coffee addict like me, so we stopped in for a coffee one afternoon. The smell and menu brought us back for breakfast the next day. I had ricotta, arugula, and lemon on toast. So freaking delicious and exactly my favorite kind of breakfast. I loved this so much. The staff was amazing. I love this place!

Great fermented flavors came through with a touch of cinnamon on my cannoli. Helpful and kind service even late in the day when the pickings have slimmed down. Enjoy a treat from them at the Paonia River Park for a real local experience.

Absolutely adorable place to grab breakfast and relax. I ended up getting some bagels to go and used them for breakfast the next day. Definitely a great place to stop to eat.

A little slice of heaven. Loafs of bread fresh out of the oven and too hot to cut. Fresh fantastic food and pastries. A must visit on any trip to Paonia

I was in love as soon as I walked in. The food tasted of love in every bite. The sandwiches were perfect for an amazing lunch. From the food to the atmosphere was very much relaxed and artistic. I really wish I could have tried everything on their menu. 10/10 recommend to everyone!

Such a great place to grab a quick bite! The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. I’m more of a deep dish pie, or hand tossed (medium thickness crust) kind of pizza lover, yet their thin crust was delicious. The toppings were of outstanding quality, and their pesto was on point! They also had a bakery, which was what I expected, yet they have so much more. A great selection of local and organic drinks. I was pleasantly surprised by the scents as I walked in the door, and I’m so happy they’re only one town away, I will be returning. Thank you, great job! ✌️

A cute place. I had some free time between meetings so I stopped by for hot chocolate and pastries. They are all made in home with the best ingredients. I loved the scones and plan to go back tomorrow morning to get all the goodies. The earlier you come the more options you have. Also make sure to bring cash or check. Over all A++

Food was good but staff was awful and rude. Asked for cinnamon rolls to be warmed, lady told us they are warm (they weren’t) proceeded to eat 2 more entire courses before our coffee came out (30 minutes) and then the coffees were wrong!!! Lady making them (middle aged curly haired lady) snapped at us and said “maybe they aren’t yours then did you think about that” then refused to remake them! My sister said okay we are sorry for any confusion (even tho it clearly wasn’t our fault) and she rolled her eyes and turned around. If you’re overwhelmed, hire more people, and don’t work in customer service if you aren’t able to be nice. Also place is disgusting with flies all over the uncovered baked goods. I’ve never seen a more miserable group of humans in my life. Never come here
