I stopped by this Zaxby’s after a few months away, and overall the experience was still reliably good. The food quality has remained consistent across my visits — my order was correct, served at the right temperature, and presented well, which is something I’ve come to expect from this location. The staff continues to be polite and professional. I wouldn’t call the service exceptional, but it’s consistently acceptable, and everyone stays busy and engaged in their work.
The restaurant was clean throughout my visit. I was there for over an hour catching up with a friend, and the drink station stayed clean the entire time. I also noticed team members wiping down tables whenever they weren’t taking orders, which is always a good sign of solid day‑to‑day upkeep.
There have been a few changes since my last visit. The drive‑thru setup outside has been improved, and traffic flows much better now. Parking has also been adjusted so cars in the drive‑thru aren’t blocking people trying to park. Inside, the seating area has been reworked and brightened up with fresh paint, giving it a nicer overall feel. The only downside was noticing a few cosmetic shortcuts — the booth I sat near had old holes and anchors that were simply painted over instead of properly patched. That feels more like an issue with whoever handled the remodel rather than Zaxby’s itself, but it did stand out. I was also disappointed to see that the Coke Freestyle machine is no longer at the drink station, since that was always a nice perk.
Even with those small misses, this is still a good place to grab a meal and catch up with friends, and I’ll definitely be back again soon.

They have done renovations since I last visited. They have an older gentleman that keeps the sitting area spotless. He also keeps the drink area stocked and clean. I tried the new buffalo tacos. They were good.

I ordered wings and things combo thru door dash. My food arrived in the time that was specified. When I opened the container the lemon pepper wings were cold , hard and dried up. I called the location and they said I would have to contact door dash, which was a little confusing since they are not the ones who prepared my food. So I contacted door dash and they were only able to give me a $5.00 REDUND. My meal was $17. I wanted hot fresh lemon pepper wings and ibrhink that zaxbys should be able to refund or replace my meals. I hope the trash can enjoyed it because I didnt.

The food was great, and the staff was extremely polite and helpful! Alexina, the staff, was really lovely and polite… On top of everything else that was fantastic at this restaurant, the sweet and spicy bone in wings were delicious with the seasoned fries and toast. The dining space was clean, and the person that worked there was really kind and friendly! I would strongly suggest this Zaxby’s to everyone!

at 9:15pm, we came here to get 4 milkshakes after having a good day. when we ordered these milkshakes at the window, very loud and clear, we hear multiple people in the store, including the woman on the mic say “wowwwww” and repeat our order to each other basically in disgust that we had the audacity to order milkshakes while the store is open for another 45 minutes… so after that, as we’re driving up to the window and again, very loud and clear we hear the woman on the mic say “that shit is mad annoying”. very disappointed as we enjoy zaxbys and have never experienced anything like this before.

Drive there and order the wings and things meal with lemon pepper wings only to get all the way back home and open my meal and the wings have zero seasoning out on them. Just dry plain wings. If it wasn’t such a hassle to drive back to ight, I’d go. The young people were more worried about their friend in the car behind me than getting my food correct. Smh.

OK, so I went here trying to get some chicken fingers, and apparently the high schoolers here have spread a rumor about me having a mental illness. I’m not mad about that I’ve gotten used to it. I’m mad about the fact that this 5 foot five Zaxby’s manager who looks like one of the hodge twins tried to flex on me and protect the staff like I’m a threat. Like bro, I literally didn’t do anything wrong. I’m just trying to get some food. Yet because of the high schoolers in town. I’m now treated like a threat by everyone in the Raleigh Durham area. If i come back please somt treat me like I’m a threat I’m a normal person who is having a rumor spread about him. And yes, I have moments or weakness. But it doesn’t mean I should be made fun of the to the point where I have to move out of my home city because of a rumor.

Friendly, warm, and energetic counter service. Food, chicken strips, fries, toast, and drinks were all very fresh and delicious. Someone activity cleaning the tables after people were finished. Pleasant ambiance and friendly music playing low in the dining area. This all made for a great little family lunch. Thank you!
