I’m not exactly sure what’s going on with Zaxby’s but once my gift cards are used up I’m done with the restaurant. You simply cannot order a salad anymore and know what you’re going to get. Sometimes you get a salad that’s the size it should be but a lot of times you get a salad and it’s significantly less than what it should be. I purchased two Cobb salads a couple of days ago and you could literally fit both salads in one of the salad containers they were so small. Zaxby’s most definitely has no quality control or portion size requirements, is pretty much whatever the maker of the salad chooses to give you. Zaxby’s feedback does no good because they’ll take your feedback and nothing will change. Pretty obvious Zaxby’s doesn’t care enough to make sure their customers get a good product, the customers pretty much get what they get as long as it fits the description. You order a salad and you get a small salad you order fries or wings and they’re overdone or burnt…. Doesn’t matter because Zaxby’s is going to put it on the customer to make it right. I’ll never again recommend Zaxby’s to anyone, and I’m definitely going to tell them to avoid Zaxby’s because I’m sick of the lack a pride Zaxby’s has in the product they give to their customer.

I called the Sedalia restaurant prior to completing an online order for a BOGO special today. I needed clarity about what I wanted to order. I spoke with a snarky black female who told me she was the manager (when I asked for a manager after being spoken to with sarcasm). This girl would not answer my questions directly then either hung up or the call was disconnected on her end. Just before the call disconnected, she snickered a bit as if she was going to laugh out loud but asked if I’d placed my order yet (I told her three times I was calling to get clarity PRIOR to placing an order). I politely said no, not yet. Then the call was gone. I decided I would just go to the drive-thru and absolutely not let it be known that I called. I decided I’d order another meal from the menu. I had slaw in my order instead of fries. My slaw had a lengthy strand of hair in it. This grossed me out. There was a man preparing all the drinks with an unmanicured, lengthy beard and mustache. It looked improper to see in food service without it being wrapped. I suppose at least he wants to work and has a job..but no thank you! The service was fine. After my earlier call, I definitely was not going to call and complain about anything because I know there is always Google and Yelp. I don’t know what happened with the previous management but that restaurant was top notch at one point. I would go there several times a week, if nothing more but for dessert. Now, I never plan to go there again and it is less than 4 miles from my home. I came to write this review and realized this Zaxby’s already has only a 3.9 rating. Owners please do better, clean house and bring back the old crew or better than these people you have right now. This is not working for this area. It’s as bad as Bojangle’s in Stoney Creek once was!!!

I should have gotten enough of Zaxby’s when last week I sent there. I received terrible, dark, warmed over hard fries from the bottom of the fries bag..the little short ones..none full size and then there was crust from chicken mixed in with it..like trash from the fryer. I put it all in the air fryer. The chicken was really good but the fries terrible still. That’s when I decided I didn’t want their fries anymore.

I have stopped in Sunday after church three weeks in a row. The service is fast & friendly, and the chicken tastes so fresh! Today especially the dining room appears neat and so clean! I had a Zensation salad at Sr Citizen discount, ordered without the teriyaki sauce. Delicious! I want to shout our Ryan for the smile and courteous order taking and Nadiyah for remembering me and saying hi.

My daughter went here the weekend of the snow ice storm and despite being allowed to place an online order, they were closed. Every other closed business in the area did not take online orders that day. She emailed them and never heard back. So they have basically stolen money from a college student. I’d advise anyone in the area not to use their online ordering system without making sure the restaurant is actually open.
And – I went on later in the day to see if I could order from them and they said they were open and taking orders. I called them to see several times and no answer.
Shady business – bad enough to steal money but then to never respond….

I had a wonderful experience at this location. Lauren N provided fantastic customer service. She was pleasant, professional and very accommodating. I ordered salads with no tomatoes. Before I could say anything, she noticed the order was made wrong and had it corrected immediately. I drive 2 towns over to come to this location for the service. Thank you Lauren and team.

The food is always tasty, chicken tenders are crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside, and wings are fried just right!

This review isn’t for the quality of food but for the poor customer service/experience I received TWICE THIS WEEK, not once, but TWICE! Why hire managers that detest their customers and job? Both horrible experiences I endured by a manager (long blonde/white hair) who was utterly impolite and rude, just plain haughtiness even when she took my order via drive thru, rushing me to finish my order, even being a Smart Aleck when I was incorrect about the order. Not to mention, when I went inside to retrieve my incomplete order (like I always have to do,) not one face acknowledged my existence, NOT ONE greet, I was ignored. How does that happen with TWO managers on duty? Zaxby’s, YOU DROPPED THE BALL, when you decided to hire managers with not one hospitable bone in their body.

I ordered food from here last night via the app. I had ordered the 4 fingerz plate meal and the zax snack meal. The 4 fingerz plate i got for someone else and they didn’t like the chicken. They felt like the meat was not cooked all the way. My food was straight in my opinion. The soda machine was definitely hooked up right because our cherry coke was delicious lol

The items listed on my receipt don’t add up to the price I paid? Looks like someone somewhere stole about $7 from me. Not to mention they try their best to look closed if you go after 8, don’t respond to people at the window. If you want to close at 8 just close at 8. Why do I have to work to get you to do your job when you get my order wrong AND steal from me? Do not go here.
