I’m a Los Angeles resident 10 years that also spent 10 years in San Diego so I have pretty high taco standards. These were arguably some of the best quesabirria tacos I’ve had. Crispy shell, perfectly tender and flavored beef and the consommé on a cold winter’s day was the ideal accompaniment as was the side salsa. I took a bite as I walked away and then immediately turned around to double up my order. I then bumped into this duck who took one whiff then risked everything to steal a bite. Wild Tahoe duck breast review to follow.

Great authentic Mexican food truck that isn’t a tourist trap. We got 2 burrito bowls – one chicken and one steak. Generous portions and very filling. Food is not greasy and sauce was spicy without being too hot. Friendly employees and nice outdoor seating next to an ice cream store. Highly recommended!

That was hands down the best Mexican food of my life, I don’t say that lightly as I have had more authentic Mexican food than most! The service was outstanding, friendly, and great suggestions. They were fast, friendly and delicious! This is a must stop location! Thanks for the experience guys!

Sorry to say that I paid $20 with the tip for a chicken burrito and it was mostly all beans, sour cream and lettuce. I couldn’t find any chicken until the end. They didn’t have any rice ready at 11:30 AM, which was okay with me, but if I’d wanted a veggie burrito I could have paid less. My son loved his biria tacos, however.
Also it took them almost 20 minutes ot make.

Great Quesabirria tacos in Tahoe City! Authentic Mexican food made fresh every day. Mexican owned and operated food truck steps from Lake Tahoe.

Burrito bowl = rice, beans, lettuce, salsa, two slices avocado for $16…meaningfully overpriced.
They were out of pupusas, and their vegetarian option for all tacos / burritos.
It was slow ~25 mins to get our food. Seating is in a parking lot.
Overpriced, not good enough, meh service, meh vibes

Tacos were tasty, but the Supreme Burger was probably the best burger I’ve ever had. I would seriously go there with any burger craving if I lived in the area. Perfect in every way. I’d pay the price for how good the burger. I paid $49 for 5 tacos and 2 drinks. The burger was ordered by someone else in our group who was kind enough to share with me. She agreed. Best burger ever.

Coming from San Diego we are always on the hunt for delicious Mexican food – while vacationing in Tahoe we found this taco truck and were impressed! Our table got street tacos, carne asada fries, and California burritos. Everyone loved everything! Only 4/5 is for atmosphere as it’s in a parking lots and seating is limited. Otherwise food and service are solid 5/5!

This truck is in over their heads. First of all $50 for 6 street tacos is absolutely stupid. They’re fine quality I guess but good lord. And then it took 25 minutes after that to get my food. I ordered six street tacos to go and should have just gone to a sit-down restaurant to be honest. The people working are nice enough and the service was with a smile but that’s not enough to make up for both the price point and the fact that these tacos are Street sized and take half a millennia to come out of the truck.

Best tacos in Tahoe. Period. All their food is really authentic, you can’t go wrong. I just wish they would open another location closer to Squaw or Truckee!
