I had salmon in a pita – the most delicious salmon, a generous portion, and salad on the pita, with lemon potatoes to die for, and wonderful spinach pie. Everything I have eaten from there has been excellent, delicious, generous, and (almost) addictive. It’s just amazing, how a little place can make such amazing food! It’s ready when they say it will be ready, packaged nicely for takeout, and worth every cent. Try it!

If there’s one dish we order every single time, it’s the salmon. It is cooked to absolute perfection! Consistently moist, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Zaros has been part of our family’s weekly rotation for years. OBSESSED. We even bring it in when people come over and we have used them for catering too!

There are so many great combinations, but the salmon with their rice and a side of tzatziki is truly outstanding – better than any Greek restaurant around. Don’t forget to get a side of spanikopita!

Zaro’s rocks! Some of the best Greek food you’ll ever have. I dare you to find a better falafel or spinach pie (spanakopita) anywhere. Falafel can be bland- but not here- it’s savory & spiced right & so fresh tasting. The spinach pie has the flakiest (not mushy!) coating of any I’ve ever had. Greek diners should take note! Prepared with care & love. All their sauces- the Tzatziki & tahini in particular- are great. It feels like they’re making food for their family. Edmund & his staff are welcoming & friendly. My wife is addicted to their Greek salad with chicken souvlaki- so flavorful. I’m not a meat eater, but I’ve brought others here who raved about their meals too. Fast casual now with no waitress service- but if you order at the counter, they bring the food to your table. I noticed the other day that they’ve added a menu board of specials with some pasta specials- among other items. I like the wispy white privacy curtains they just put up too. Try it- you’ll like it! I love it. Support your local family businesses. There’s good reason they just celebrated 30 years! Don’t pass it by. Opposite Fireside Deli in the little strip mall.

The food here is so good. I had the Zeus bowl. It was fresh and tasty. The best part was after I ate it I didnt feel uncomfortable like after I eat at other places like chain restaurants. That’s how you know the food is quality. Highly recommend

After reading good reviews on Google, went last night to pick up food. They have good menu to choose from we ordered chicken gyro and grilled vegetables gyro. Both were good. Very nice and clean restaurant, they have tables to dine in. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They cooked every order fresh.

Zaro’s has been open for nearly 30 years and now I know why! Their food is the real deal! The flavors are authentic and everything is homemade and very fresh!
The staff treats you like family as soon as you walk in. They just reopened their dining room on Friday and Saturdays night and launched some great new menu items.
The spanakopita was the best I’ve ever had,
along with the baklava! Everything was delicious and the portions were huge. It’s such a great value and I already can’t wait to go back!

I was in the Huntington Station area and I couldn’t help but stop by one of my old favorites growing up. Zaro’s Cafe is still going strong after 30 plus years. I had to get a gyro which is one of the best on Long Island! The family was still there with smiles and delivering great service. I got home took a bite that gyro was still amazing as it was from the beginning. They had a 2 for $17 gyro special. This place is really a hidden gem that deserves a spotlight. They have a nice dining room to dine in and highly recommend stopping in and staying in. I wish I was a close as I was when I grew up to this place. The food and service is great!

I had Chicken Picatta that I thought was great. Really well done. My wife had a Gyro platter that was fantastic. The food is very fresh and well prepared. Lots of flavor with just resorting to lots of butter and salt.
