We were seated quickly (with a reservation), and our waiter, Allan V, greeted us right away. He explained how everything worked, took our drink order, and recommended the strawberry Brazilian lemonade pitcher — which was absolutely delicious! Super fresh and perfectly balanced. I really appreciated that they didn’t leave the pitcher on the table; instead, Allan and his team stayed on top of refills so we never had to ask, and it kept the table clear (which you’ll need for all the food!).
The restaurant itself is spotless and thoughtfully designed. The cold bar is huge, offering salads, cheeses, meats, vegetables, sauces, and more. The hot bar is equally impressive with their famous lobster bisque, rice, Brazilian beans, mushrooms, potatoes au gratin, and shrimp.
And then there’s the meat — an endless selection! The moment you flip your card, servers are ready with perfectly cooked options. We enjoyed everything, but our favorites were the filet mignon, beef ribs, and Brazilian sausage. Alongside the meats, you’re also served sides like French fries, mashed potatoes, and cinnamon-sugar plantains. My husband loved the plantains so much he had four rounds!
What really stood out, though, was the service. Allan and the entire staff made the evening feel special — attentive without ever being intrusive. At $57 per person, it is on the pricier side, but the quality of the food and the outstanding service make it 100% worth it.
We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit!
They started by asking if I wanted sparkling or spring water. I chose spring water and got charged $8, so beware. The meal cost $57 for dinner.
The sides are always fabulous. This was no different, great mashed potatoes and the fried bananas are outstanding. I could eat those every day. The meats were all excellent, very well cooked and tender. Last year I was at the Detroit location and the meats in Grand Rapids were much better.
The service was good, but also my only real complaint is everyone needs to learn to speak up. I had a hard time hearing the up front counter person, then the waitress and the waiter she was training were both way too quiet to hear what they were saying. If I hadn’t been to a couple of Brazilian restaurants I would have been very confused. That being said I’m not taking any points for that or the over priced water.
Overall a 5 star review. Would I return? Absolutely. This isn’t really a place you go every weekend, it’s more a special occasion. I’m glad to have a new special place to go to. I will be back a couple times a year I’m sure.
Even though the salad bar is exceptional, dont get too much, save room for why your their.
They being out fries, mash potatoes, fried bananas to your table.
We were eating salad bar and these got cold.
Pick out the meals you want most, wait for them and or ask for them via waitress to stop by.
The biggest reason for lower rating is the desserts.
Of course no room in our stomachs so we got them to go.
They could find anything to put ice cream in for the coconut chess pie.
The crem brule didn’t even have the most important part, the torched sugar on top.
This is a very nice restaurant but very pricey, special occasion only.
We will go again but maybe once or so a year.
