My wife and I adore Korean food. There is nothing better in our opinion. All the Korean places on our island closed, so when we come to Oahu we unload. The food here is great, but the prices are outrageous! This is beyond inflation, they are straight up price gouging. To top it off, the staff are rude beyond words. The older ladies are the worst. We spent over $40 on two plates, one kalbi and one vegetable only plate. Yep, $40+ bones for maybe $7-8 bucks in food. The banchan are vegetables, not gold! They wouldn’t give us more than one single container of gochujang sauce. I’m talking a container with barely a thimble of sauce inside. No joke. The first night we ate there, we were served by one of the younger ladies. She was great. Good size portions, and a couple of gochujang sauce containers. On the second and third night, the elderlies served. Meager portions, and the audacity to try and charge us extra for anything more than a thimble of gochujang. I get that this is Ala Moana, but this is out of control. This place needs management, big time. The prices are one thing, but when the staff are rude as hell, it just makes eating there a real disappointment. If the owners of this location care about their reputation at all, they should take a real close look at what’s going on here. Or, they can ignore this review, do nothing, and just survive on the vast number of people that come through the food court which is what I suspect they’re going to do. A shame, really because the food is really good. But it’s all soured by the rotten people they have working for them that insist on nickel & diming their customers for things that cost them next to nothing.

Tasty food court style Korean restaurant. The portions are BIG and the banchans are amazing. The wait is some what longer, as other reviews stated, but everything is made fresh and not under a heat lamp or being kept warm in a warmer. I’ve learned my lesson to get the smaller portion. If you’re on a diet, Yummy is not the place!

Gigantic portion for roughly $18. Enough to feed two people. Mac salad was pretty good too.

We found this restaurant while visiting the famous Ala Maona shopping center. We ordered combination of BBQ beef and chicken, served with three side dishes. The BBQ meats tasted GREAT, portions were generous. Highly recommend

Ordered the Bi Bim Bap for dinner.. got home only to find that they left out the bulgogi. I essentially paid $17 for a plate of rice, small portion of veggies and an egg.

I’ve been a frequent customer my entire life. Moved away for 8 years and made it a point to stop by for some childhood cravings when I came to visit. The prices shot up significantly but so did everywhere else due to COVID and I was willing to overlook it because as I said, it was a favorite of mine.
