Heard about this place a few times so decided to take wifey here. Got here around 5:20pm on a week night so it was still empty. Of course we had to order its signature Hainan chicken – we had it with a rice plate. My wife gave her stamp of approval on their Hainan chicken and that’s saying a lot because that’s the first one that she approved locally. The rice was pretty flavorful too. The side of sliced cucumber, quail egg and wood ear did not have much flavor, but that’s okay. Oh, the rice plate did come with a bowl of soup, but it did not have much flavor and I sort of forgot about it. I especially love it when I had a spoonful of rice, some peanuts and a small piece of chicken with the spring onion sauce all in one bite. That was heavenly.

Wifey strategized that we should have a rice plate and a noodle dish. Since this was the first time, we ordered their Special Laksa Fish Noodle Soup. The fish noodle was quite different and I was not used to eating that. Think I would have preferred ramen noodle instead, but maybe next time. The laksa broth had a lot of flavor and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The shrimp were nice and plump. We also had two appetizers: pork intestines and beef brisket & tendon. Both were not bad, but not outstanding. Their portions were bigger than most places though.

Would come back again for their Hainan chicken and maybe try some other items like their Chiu Chow marinated duck, fried chicken and fried calamari.

The Hainan chicken is the best in the Bay. We ordered an extra order to take home. Everything here is yummy. There is occasionally a short line to get seated.

Located next to the Dublin 99 Ranch Asian Market. Authentic Hainan chicken restaurant. I highly recommend menu item K9, their featured Hainan chicken, with seasoned rice, peanuts, pickled cucumbers, and savory chicken soup. I also ordered their deep fried Capelin fish appetizer, which is the Shishamo (Japanese) small fish with eggs.

Newly opened Chinese restaurant,
Their location is convenient, Right next to the 99 ranch market, and with a free large parking lot.

Their signature Hainan chicken with rice is great.
Service is excellent, too.

Since they are still in “soft opening”, have been told some of the items in menu may not be available yet.

Overall they are worth to try. Keep up the good work.

If you haven’t gone, this is your sign. Its right next to 99 ranch, meaning location is A1 and perfect for you to stop by before you go get your groceries.

Anyway, I got the chicken with noodles and the tofu, wood ear mushroom, and cucumber appetizer. The appetizer was really refreshing and citrusy. The entree was really good. The noodles and veggies were served in their own bowl and the chicken and peanuts were served on the side with its green onion/ginger/garlic garnish. You’re able to add your own sauces to your soup. The sriracha and other sauces were off to the side but the chili oil was at the table. Putting everything together was its own unique experience. I enjoyed the different flavors and my overall dine-in experience.

The restaurant was pretty clean and quiet. You can be seated for dine-in or order at the front. Staff was helpful and shared the most popular items.

They have a restroom available to customers.

Best hainan chicken I’ve had in the Bay Area. Close to Hong Kong quality.

My husband brought home Hainan chicken with rice to-go. The chicken is good, the rice is decent, and the cucumber has nice flavor but is stale! I couldn’t finish it, so I’m docking a point.

I wish they had offered spicy oil and the traditional Hainan chicken sauce for Togo customers.

Great prices. Good/great flavors. Good/great service.
Everything we ordered was good. Chicken and duck is probably what they were best known for. The pork nuckle was soft but not super flavorful. The intestines were good.

Came here for dinner yesterday, got the first laksa on the menu, and woke up in the middle of the night with some of the worst food poisoning I’ve ever experienced, vomiting up fish noodles. Rating 3 stars because of course I’m not 100% sure it was the laksa, but the only other food I ate yesterday afternoon was packaged snacks from 99 ranch and daiso. Also it sounds like from the reviews at least one other customer got food poisoning here, and a few others mention the food not being fresh. Be warned, the food is not amazing enough to be worth the risk.
