I read about the re-opening in the Vail Daily. It was such a cool vibe. We had 2 great salads, a glass of wine and sat on the patio. the staff was over the top friendly. If you are looking for a chilled, different summertime place to have lunch with friends, this is it. Go soon, they close after Labor Day (I asked).

Eight of us stopped there for dinner Saturday night, after hiking all day in the Flat Top Wilderness. One person in our group used to go there occasionally several years ago and recommended it. The ambiance at the outside seating was very nice and a woman was playing guitar some distance away. When we perused he menu though, we were shocked to see how high the prices were. Rainbow trout for $24 with some sauce never heard of before and any sides to add were $7! There was no way were going to waste out hard earned money on food prices like that. We got up and left and found a good Mexican restaurant in Eagle where we could get twice the food for half the money.

After being seated, nobody acknowledged us for several minutes so we got up and left. The place was not crowded so that wasn’t an issue. It was kind of weird. Would have spent at least $70 since there were 4 of us.
