Their cook food was actually really good. But the sushi not so much. The fish and rice just don’t seem to be fresh or well put together. But maybe Sarasota is not known for that (we been spoiled elsewhere). Good service at a mom and pop type of place. Wish them well.

This restaurant is by far my kid’s favorite place to go to for sushi while visiting Sarasota. There is an amazing variety of sushi rolls and the staff are so welcoming. The food is made with high quality ingredients and is sure to please! Unless you come early in the day, be prepared to pay for parking.

Showed up at 7:30pm for my sister’s s 21st bday. We had a reservation and when we showed up they were closed. Would have been nice if they had atleast left a sign or maybe called us to let us know they wouldn’t be open/ canceled our reservation.

Over the years my wife and I have eaten here and never had a bad experience. The food is always amazing and you will not have a poor experience. At least that was until today. We chose Yume as our first date night since our son was born because it was our place to go since before we were married.

Four for dinner. We arrived early but were able to be seated. Sushi ordering is by laminated card with a dry erase marker. I prefer this as it easy to keep track of who wants what. They also offer some Thai dishes in addition to Japanese dishes. Server was on top of his game and I recommend trying Yume.

Yume is one of my favorite sushi spots in town! Everything is always in beautiful presentation and also tastes delicious. The drinks are also great. The key line martini and the jalapeno margarita are so good!
