We came to this restaurant looking for a unique experience of Amish flavors and found it! We ordered the chicken, some Amish version of potato pancakes and a key lime pie. Everything taste good, was reasonably priced and served fast. Also the service was friendly. Unfortunately the place was full so given time constraints we had to order for take out but might come back to dine in.

Delightful, delusions, fantastic, home cooking. The food is all fresh handmade and welcoming. You can eat there or take it away. The portions are large. I had fried chicken mash potatoes and Mac and Cheese. Their Chilli was spicy good. All excellent. The chocolate cake was so great and large you can eat it for days.

Yoder’s Amish Restaurant in Sarasota, Florida, is a hidden gem for those seeking delicious comfort food. Their pot roast melt is absolutely delicious, tender, and bursting with flavor.

We stopped in for an early dinner and we were very impressed. The service was excellent and we all ordered different entrees and found them all very delicious. We tried their country fried steak, fried chicken, Shepards pie and the grilled shrimp. Our server talked us into ordering strawberry cream pie, butterscotch and blackberry pie. Yum yum. We would definitely come back here again

Yoder’s is so good, on our 4 days in Sarasota, Florida we ate there three times. Their portions are generous, but it’s not a matter of quantity over quality. The food is some of the tastiest home cooking I’ve had. The apple butter on the table is a treat, and I strongly recommend living your best life by having a slice of pie BEFORE the main course.

This place is awesome! So clean and simple, and the food is very fresh. It’s not overly salted like most Southern restaurants. The homemade pies and cakes were phenomenal. I order for dinner the pot roast, mashed potatoes (real, not instant), broccoli casserole, and green beans. Side salad was good too, but the ranch dressing wasn’t great gave me a bottled hidden valley ranch vibe. Side note: one of the soap dispensers in the bathroom was filled with D batteries … and I can’t figure out why.

Today we visited Sarasota from the West Palm area. I had never been to the city, & the 1st thing that struck me on Google maps, when searching for lunch was an Amish restaurant in Florida! Yoder’s is delicious! All I could think of was what good taste these people have. I mean, moving to Florida, & being able to cook some of the best food I have eaten anywhere! I have NEVER had grilled chicken so juicy. The cooked apples were so tasty. And there are so many gluten free items. I chose the gluten free Coconut Pie, & I was in awe of the flavor & SIZE! Worth a drive to eat here, even if we did nothing else in Sarasota!

One of the best places I’ve ever ate at. I’d recommend you come here hungry and ready to be full by the time you leave the chicken was amazing, and the country cooking was amazing. You could easily tell the freshness of the apples they use for the baked apples. The chicken stuffing was also really good. AND THE HOMEADE APPLE BUTTER. I just wished I had room for dessert because it looked amazing. Definitely wont be the last time I come here.

Yoder’s is a fantastic Amish restaurant in Sarasota. All of their food is made from scratch and delicious. They have whole pies and cakes for sale, with my favorite peanut butter cream pie. It’s very popular, so there might be a wait. It’s first come, first serve. They do have a take-out window for to go orders. The service is warm and welcoming, and you will be you came.

We can’t go to Sarasota without stopping at Yoder’s. Always a great experience, the food is delicious, make sure you save room from dessert, you’ll probably end up taking it home, there is so much to eat. I highly recommend the turkey dinner with stuffing and mashed potatoes. We tried the key lime pie, the Dutch apple crumb pie and the chocolate cake!! I had cake for days and I’m not complaining!
