Where else can you get DELICIOUS grilled catfish fillets, chicken and dumplings, hush puppies , AND Mac n cheese bites for under $14? I’m thoroughly impressed. Service was great! Quick and accurate. Food was awesome too. Also very clean with nice decor. Kris even helped me with my dilemma of choosing between chicken and dumplings and the catfish by offering the chicken and dumplings as a side. This is a place you must visit.

We have been here a few times, and it never disappoints. We live in Michigan, near Detroit. So, we don’t get to come as often as we like. It’s been a couple of years, and we were able to come back tonight. The food was as good as we remembered, if not better. The service was great, very friendly. And, the atmosphere is nice, with cute decorations. We will be back every time we’re in the area.

Waited 45 minutes to find out they were out of what I ordered, but brought my family’s lunch out. I could order something else, but they didn’t seem to be in a rush or care. I had the joy of watching my family eat. Was never offered drink refills or any apologies for taking so long or that they were out of what I ordered. Thought I would have been informed immediately that they were out of something, not when they brought everyone else’s lunch out. But they took my tea off the bill, so all good

A friend and I were traveling to visit the famous Superman statue of Metropolis, IL when we were looking up local eateries to enjoy. This was recommended by the locals and the locals never disappoint. As I state in many other reviews, I love a good sandwich and this one is unique. The “LOIS LANE” is deliciously savory with a turkey and bacon combo with an apple slice and cranberry mustard. The service was great, the food left me in a happy place and the corn nuggets were perfect! My friend had the chicken and waffles which according to him wasn’t disappointing either. Overall, give this place a visit next time you’re in town to visit Superman. These people are the real heroes with this culinary art!
