The only authentic Armenian cafe we’ve been able to find in the DC area. Yerevan Cafe has a calm, inviting atmosphere with ample seating and natural light in the heart of Adam’s Morgan. Stop by for delicious Armenian Coffee, amazing wines and brandy (get the Ararat!), hot snacks, pastries, and a selection of jams and frozen delicacies.

This place is great. I think it’s a lesser known gem. Relatively quiet, with lovely Armenian decor. Interesting market in the. Ack. My friend and I tried the vegetarian combo and the meat combo — both great. My favorite thing to order is the rose latte. Not too sweet/soapy. Really well made. Yum.

Never thought I’d leave a bad review one day but the quality of food here is ridiculous. Got the Zhingyalov hats and it was unbelievably pathetic. This sad, tiny, paper-thin slice is priced 12 bucks, and there’s no way the ingredients cost more than a buck. If you google pictures of a Zhingyalov hats you’d know what a proper amount of filling is. I love trying out ethnic foods but only at restaurants that take their food seriously. Yeah being the only Armenian place in DC probably gave them no competition and therefore no standards. Shame.

The staff was friendly, and we enjoyed our time there. It’s a cozy place and you’ll get a great experience while drinking Armenian coffee, Armenian pastries, and also Armenian cuisine. They also have Armenian famous cognac, Ararat, and you can have a who bottle to buy for to go or some shots during your time there

My first time at Yerevan Cafe and it was a hit! We had the lavender coffee, lahmajuns, dolmas, homemade baklava and orange cake and all were delicious! A hole in the wall cafe with so much to offer. Loved the decor as well

Lovely atmosphere, kind staff, great market. Food was good and authentic, though it’s cafe-style so the food is light and the portions are medium. The market will make you homesick for Yerevan food and art and people.

excellent excellent cafe, perfect if you’re looking for a remote work spot earlier in the day. Towards the evening with the happy hour deals it turns into a more social affair, so bring a few friends and spend an afternoon! Highly recommend the honey cake and rose latte
