Went here for dinner tonight. The wait staff was friendly and polite. Most of the food was very good (Philly steaks and cuban sandwiches here are amazing). However, I was disappointed with the new england clam chowder that was served to us. Clearly has been either reheated or sat on a stovetop for several hours and was now separated and unappetizing. How this left the kitchen, I don’t quite understand. The management was understanding though and took it off our bill.

The best restaurant in the area. This is the low country and Ye Old Riverwalk embodies the best qualities of this place. Perfect Scallops, Shrimp Scampi with pasta, a sea breeze with a spirited drink and staff that live it. I’m bringing all my Northern compatriots to this place every chance I get. Thank you -Chris

Nice atmosphere. Food was good. Small area with a couple few tables. Small bar. We had very nice waitress, she was very busy, but also attentive. We would go back…BUT we noticed on our bank statement she gave herself a few more dollars for a tip. I guess the tip we left wasn’t enough. Kinda sketchy if you’re going to mess with someone else’s money .

Great place to eat! If you want good seafood, this is the place to go. If you are just looking for good food, this is still the place to go. But seafood is the real deal. This place is busy and this means that the seafood never sits around long before it is served. So they might not have everything you want every night. But that is the price you have to expect to pay if you want fresh seafood. And on top of the the great food is great service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Feel free to rely on their expertise, they will not steer you wrong. Great atmosphere, great crowd, and great food. A GREAT overall experience.

My husband and I ate breakfast there this morning and was not disappointed. Homemade corn beef hash and eggs Benedict were excellent. Waitress was very friendly and welcomed our dog with water and treats. Will definitely go back next time we visit Swansboro.
