Food is always hot and fresh and served fast! Cannot go wrong with the chili cheese étouffée, but my favorite is to get the 1/2 and 1/2 and try something different each time! Also love their extensive hot sauce collection.

A first timer to Yats Traders Point. What a great time !!!!! Even though I was the only dine-in customer, there were plenty of to-go orders going out the door. My first surprise was the counter help asked if I wanted to taste a sample of an item from the menu. Sure!!!!! I tried the Chili Cheese Etouffee with Crawfish and a sample of Red Beans & Smoked Sausage. It was a toss up. And then she asked if I wanted Half n Half? Sold ! ! ! Everything was great. The garlic toast topped it off.

The music brought back memories of when I heard the songs as First Release. Good times.

I will definitely be back on my next trip to Indy.

Well here we are back for more with a Half n Half of Chili Cheese Etouffee and Red Beans & Smoke Sausage. What a way to get prepped for the week.

Back for more Yats famous Cajun foods. The Half & Half is the way to go if you can’t decide. This time it was Crawfish Etouffee on one side with the Red Beans and Sausage on the other. You can’t go wrong.

Authentic Cajun curries and stews with a low-key, artsy, and charming vibe, taking me straight back to the good old days in the New Orleans French Quarter! The bread is amazing and is the highlight of their menu, all smothered with an orange buttery sauce. For entrees, I especially recommend the drunken chicken, the chicken maque choux and the spinach and mushroom etouffee.

This specific Yats location is particularly fancy schmancy! Unlike the other Yats locations that use disposable plates, Yats Traders Point uses ceramic plates. And this Yats has an actual bar, with taps for beer.

The people there are awesome! Cool, friendly, and always happy to chat. The restaurant is so hip and artsy, you feel like you’re in New Orleans again!

5/5, would recommend!

Outstanding little cajun food restaurant that is easy to find using Google Maps. It is on the NW side of Indianapolis, Indiana. This is some of the best cajun I have had outside of Louisiana. The restaurant is in a small shopping area. It is well kept and clean and the service was excellent. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot and is free. This place gets better with every visit.

Incredibly tasty, and super duper vegetarian friendly. My order, and what I recommend is a half & half plate of the “B&B” plus their “Vegan White Chili”. Throw in a good “Dragon and Yum-Yums” beer for good measure. Grab that Frank Reynolds hot sauce. You can’t go wrong.

If you love rice and spice. I’m not vegetarian, but their veg dishes are still tasty. I get cravings for it sometimes, do it’s great enough to justify that!

Limited or no gluten free options that I could see. Outside of that the food was very tasty. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Overall a good vibe and a great spot for Cajun cuisine.

No service because you stand at counter and squint at remarkable menu on the wall! The food was horrible, but I don’t like CAJUN food! But, family members think it is wonderful, and classy! Haha!! Cajun food uses lots of spices because food is probably old. REAL NO food is actually good! Sorry, Indiana covering a pig with fancy lighting is STILL a pig! Don’t bother.

If you like creole food, this is the best in Indy! Portions are great and service is fast. Food is pretty reasonably priced – about $8. It does have a bit of spice. Get the drunken chicken or the white chicken chili – best things on the menu!
