Been here a couple of times now and the food is consistently delicious. The servers have a wealth of knowledge and recommendations from appetizers to main dishes down to yummy drinks. Our love of the Yard House chain began here years ago. There were 7 of us with 2 children. My go to is the Ahi nachos and jambalaya but we had a wide variety. A beer paradise but we did also have mixed drinks and wine. Finally, our server was fantastic. Friendly, attentive and represented them well. Check them out when in the area.

There is a wait to get in but well worth it and lots of shops near by to walk through while you wait. The wait was shorter than we expected. Four adults shared the Spicy Jambalaya, Spicy Beef Garlic Noodles and two Kale & Romaine Caesar Salads. Portions are large and very shareable. All plates were delicious and flavoured very well. Server was great and accommodating. There are TV’s with sports on and some long tables in the back for larger parties. A little too loud in the back for us so we moved more towards the entrance. Music is a little higher than I would like but the food made up for it. Lots of beer on tap. Convenient re-ordering from the tabletop machine was cool, beers came out quick! There is a small outdoor patio with high-top tables but a little crowded.

I got the “vampire tacos ” and wasn’t impressed. My wife got some kind of cali roll stack. It was good. I’d order that next time. The vampire tacos were supposed to have a parmigiano crust, but it was more of an overload of cheese burned onto a flour tortilla. I can see how some drunk tourists might say, “It’s the best ever.” Just like the week before at 2 am. at Taco Bell.

Probably the best happy hour I’ve seen on this island. Also I believe they have the largest tap beer selection on the entire island. I had the BBQ chicken pizza, ahi sashimi (both half off during happy hour). The group I was with tried the bone in ribeye plate and calamari and it looked amazing. Their house brews are good too specifically the liquid compass IPA.

Everything from the service to the drinks to the food was AMAZING! I had the fish and chips with truffle fries and it was one of the best meals of my life. We had to wait about 25 minutes to get in at dinner time, but the wait was sooo worth it. One of the best meals I’ve had during our time in Honolulu.

Kendra was an excellent server. We came to Yard House several times and she was the best server we had. The happy hour was the bomb, especially the chicken nachos! Pizza, boneless wings and sliders were also great. We’ll be back again, hopefully we get Kendra again.
