Mario’s Pizza is a local, family-owned restaurant chain serving authentic NY-Style Pizza, Stromboli, calzone, Italian dishes, subs, salads, appetizers, and desserts.
Brothers Vinny, Mario and Tony, are from and grew up in Brooklyn. They’ve always been in the food business. Thanks to their Italian origins they love and know a thing or two about making pizza!
Speaking of pizza, if you haven’t tried the delightful NY-style, now is your chance. Crispy, yet chewy, it’s hand tossed and baked to perfection in our specialized ovens.
We have Mario’s locations in Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Clemmons and High Point. Our sister store, Tony’s Pizza, is in the Charlotte and Hickory area.
Local pizzeria chain serving NY-style pies, plus pasta, subs & wings, in a casual setting.

Order carry out pizza. I usually don’t order from here but today other places were closed. I you pay $20+ for a pizza you would expect something with quality. The cheese on this pizza just slipped from the crust. Nasty. I would never order from this place again.

You know something is absolutely delicious when you close your eyes after biting into it because the combination of flavors all hit at once!! That was me Wednesday, 09/20/23, dancing in my kitchen eating this sandwich. The bread was toasted to perfection. There was so much meat and cheese on this sandwich, don’t let the lettuce fool you. And that little cup of oil and herbs poured over the top with a few bites of fries in between had me ready to start cooking for the cook. The fries were perfect and seasoned so good! I wanted to go back to the restaurant with an edible arrangement, a card, some homemade desserts, and potentially a ring!! The customer service was impeccable. I was greeted as soon as I came in the door, everyone working at the front was friendly and attentive. I didn’t have to wait long. My meal was hot and fresh. And the store was clean, like it just felt good getting food here. This location is the best Mario’s in the Triad. Thank you so much and I will be back soon!!

Food is great. Service is so slow. They need to hire more help. Stood in line for 20 minutes just to pick up a pizza paid for online. Try a second line for pick up only.

We tried Mario’s for the first time for dinner, and we were neither overly impressed nor extremely disappointed. For apps, we tried the fries and the jalapeno poppers – the fries were very forgettable and didn’t really have a lot of flavor to them, even with seasoning added. The jalapeno poppers were good, but other pizza restaurants in the area definitely have better. The pizza itself was decent, but had some flaws: the cheese had a slightly strange taste to it and the crust was overcooked to the point of tasting burnt in certain bites. For the price – almost 40 bucks for two people – we could have easily gone to a similar restaurant about ten minutes away and had a cheaper and better experience. There were a few other diners who didn’t seem thrilled with their meal, either. While there was nothing egregiously wrong with the meal, the quality and taste simply didn’t fit the price in our opinion.

I normally order a salad here BUT today they gave me a chef salad with only the ham. The rest od the toppings that cokes with the sald was missing. I love my meats. Dang I know yall cns the that busy. Via way I ordered theough door dash and was upset because they didnt fairly credit for the items that was missing. To say this is another place to cross off the list. Its always more meat. This looked scarce.

Awesome pizza. I love this kind of pizza. It’s thin, but it has that NY kind of taste. Not to mention my slice was HUGE. See the pic? That’s just a portion of my slice I cut off for my GF because the whole piece was so big! Everything about it tasted good, even the crust. It was a bit too salty, but maybe that was an anomoly (it was my first time here). Big, clean, bright atmosphere inside.

My brother suggested we go here. He said he’s been here many times. I ordered 2 pepperoni and bacon pizza slices. He got 2 slices of sausage. It was so good! I was really shocked at the sizes of the slices, they were huge! I will be back!

Was hoping it was going to be homemade, NY style…but I really doubt it is. The marina, on top of the sausage appetizer, tasted like plain tomato sauce out of a jar or can, no seasoning. The white pizza was just ok the cheese was cold, absolutely no cheese pull. Disappointed based on my expectations. I will keep trying to find NY style crust in NC

Food was very good! I got the Philly Style Sub with a drink! Very big meal and they fill up the whole bread with steak! Only downside is they may be short staffed so nobody is cleaning and pretty much every table was dirty. Otherwise it’s a very nice restaurant, spacious, and fun vibe. Will definitely come back!
