We went on a quiet Friday night — only two tables were occupied — so we thought the food would be good. We ordered Baby Corn Manchuria, Paneer Gongura Biryani, and Yogurt Rice.
Everything was undercooked. We told the waitress, and she gave us credit for the appetizer.
The Paneer Gongura Biryani tasted like rice just mixed with a little Gongura pickle and left halfway. The Yogurt Rice was also plain and disappointing.
Please take this as real feedback — focus on making the basics right first. We’ll try again in a few months and hope by then the chef and ingredients finally get along better!
PEOPLE WANT TO EAT HALEEM HERE THINK TWICE , its not haleem its keema with upma and some other things
The chicken came sizzling on hot plate, good sign! But when I picked one of the drumstick , the inside was raw.
The lady that served us quickly took the chicken to the kitchen and came back saying the cook is going to re do it for me. I appreciate the quick action and wanting to correct the cooking mishap. The rest of chicken pieces were fine. Requested medium spicy, it’s actually quite delicious, a lot of flavor. Unlike most tandoori chicken that I’ve had were more bland.
The goat masala was also flavorful and tender. The naan was thin and crispy, which we really enjoyed.
I had a very bad experience at this restaurant last Saturday when I went for lunch with my daughter. The employees—mostly students—acted dishonestly during the payment.
I ordered a biryani and a kids’ chicken tandoori meal for a total of around $27.50. After eating, I gave my credit card to my daughter and stepped away to the restroom. During that time, the cashier took an extra $5 from my daughter after the payment was already completed.
When I returned and asked the cashier about the total, he nervously told me it was $33.30. When I requested the receipt, he quickly said he would “give the $5 back” and claimed he thought we had ordered a lassi—which we did not.
This clearly felt like intentional fraud. No customer—especially a child—should be taken advantage of like this.
⚠️ I strongly recommend that everyone ask for a receipt immediately after making a payment.
Be cautious and double-check your bill.
The food arrived promptly and the garlic naan was really good but the tikka chicken and side of rice were not very flavorful.
I visited the restroom. The sink basin was filthy with food residue/bits. The outlets on the white wall leading back to the kitchen are also surrounded by filth. The restaurant appears clean on the surface but once you look more closely it is NOT.
Overall just not a great experience.
