I usually go for carryout, at times I actually have my meal there. It’s a small restaurant with about a dozen tables. The menu and daily specials are listed at the window where you order. All the food is very good, especially the soups. My favorite is the cook’s bread pudding.

Love this place! The food always taste fresh and the staff is so friendly. I usually pick it up to go, however I recently dined in with a friend and it was a great experience. We wanted to try the cabbage soup, but they ran out. The waitress was so sweet and gave us a little sample taste of what was left. It was really good, but between the two my favorite is the Yankee bean soup. I saw on another review and I didn’t know that they have Thai coconut chicken soup. I can’t wait to try it!

My neighbor Frank treated me to lunch today, and it was a real treat. AMAZING Cuban sandwich! He had the Turkey and Salami on marble rye with their Yankee Bean soup. Fresh, clean friendly! In Tarpon Springs for a visit consider stopping in! Delicious!

Love the homemade soups, they have at least 5 soups to choose from. Then they have a meriote of sandwiches and Salads to complete your meal, oh let’s not forget at least two homemade deserts to choose from on a daily basis. A great place to meet friends and have a great meal!!. Prices are between $8.00-$11.00 per person. I would give Yankee Bean a 4.7 * STAR.
