been here so many times, but today i got no crab in my california roll, it was literally just avacado and cucumber. i didn’t notice until i got home since it was a to-go order. next time ill just go get krogers sushi, it’s cheaper and better.

We visited Yamato restaurant around 6:15 p.m. on a Saturday(11-8) evening. The restaurant was fairly busy, and it appeared that only two or three servers were working the floor. Our waiter, a young man who may have been new, was polite but not very attentive. It seemed he struggled with multitasking and keeping up with several tables at once.
We decided to leave once the waiter took so long to bring our drinks. I’m not sure if the restaurant is under new ownership, but it feels like the staff could benefit from additional training and support to ensure a smoother dining experience.

We were a party of three. We arrived at about 6:30pm. The restaurant was busy at the time but we didn’t have to wait for a table. The service was good, we didn’t have to wait a long time for drinks, appetizer or dinner. Impressive considering how busy the place was. The food was delicious too! The first picture is of a combo sushi platter of salmon roll, tuna roll and Philadelphia roll. The second picture is of a spicy tuna roll and the third picture is of the hibachi chicken. Pictures 1 and 3 came with soup and salad. We spent about $13 per person when averaged. The only negative was that part of the table wasn’t clean (still had something that looked like a sticky sauce at one of the place settings). I am planning on coming here again.

Worst service ever. No manager to take complaints. Everyone around came in, got served and left while one person at our table NEVER even got their appetizer. Rarely zero out dip but this situation deserved it.
