I usually love to eat breakfast at Cracker Barrel, but this location was such a disappointment. When done right, the pancakes are delicious BUT the pancakes here tasted old and like they were cooked ahead of time. The same goes for all of the breakfast items (i.e. French toast, sausage and bacon). The eggs were the only item that tasted freshly cooked. I do not recommend!

My boyfriend and I went on a date to Cracker Barrel in late April, so this review is pretty outdated from when I am posting it, but from when we went, the food and service were pretty good. My boyfriend ordered the hashbrown skillet, which was amazing, and honestly bigger than what we thought it was going to be. I ordered the fried chicken, and I was also not expecting the volume of food I was going to receive, it was a lot. I was a little disappointed in the small amount of sides I got, but the 4 pieces of chicken made up for it. The chicken itself was a little bit more greasy than what I would have liked, and it was also pretty salty, but I think that’s pretty expected at a Cracker Barrel. The taste of the food is exactly what you would expect at a Cracker Barrel, except here you get a lot of it.

To start the one seating people was very rude.
Our table service was good. That is the only good experience of this place. Then we can move on to the bland food. No taste or flavor. The only thing with flavor was the butter. Now to the really bad part of the dining experience. We both ordered the 8.99 meal offered between 4 and 6 pm. We placed our order at 5 18 pm finished at 6 05. Ticket was printed after meal was finished. We were charged full price. I have provided pics below. I will never eat here again.

We visited around 1 pm on July 18, 3 of us ordered lunch, one ordered breakfast. Not sure what was going on, but our server was lost. She disappeared and when she did show up, she forgot things. She went to get a peach tea refill and forgot to bring it. She finally brought out biscuits, but several were well done (crispy isn’t good for biscuits) so she did bring us new ones when they were ready. My husband asked for more half & half for his coffee, and she brought a glass of half sweet/half unsweetened tea, and our food had obviously been sitting waiting for awhile. It was lukewarm and the gravy on my country fried steak and mashed potatoes was congealed. The mashed potatoes were cooled off enough that the entire scoop tried to come up when I tried to eat them. My daughter’s bacon Mac was lukewarm and she found a small piece of parchment paper in it. I used to love Country Fried Steak from Cracker Barrel, now I am not sure I want to order it again…

This was a very unique experience, but not in a good way. The only good part about our experience was Lynsey(our friendly server), and Gingers(lead/mod?) attempt to keep the boat from sinking. We waited for about an hour and 10 minutes for our food to come out, and the worst part was the food wasn’t even hot, and the chicken & dumplings entree choice I ordered was out. It was quite obvious Lynsey had no control over the kitchen being extremely short staffed or whatever reason it took so long. I felt Lynsey did a fantastic job trying her best with what she had. She was kind enough to bring out biscuits and corn bread after we’d been sitting there for an hour. She was also very attentive with making sure our drinks were always topped off. When the food came out, I was extremely disappointed with the quality and temperature. Of course I’m not the type of person to make a scene. Ginger made her way to our table, and I explained why I was returning my food after two bites. I told her I knew it wasn’t either of their faults, but I just couldn’t in good conscience to myself pay for cold food after waiting all this time. It was no longer about how long I waited anymore, but the quality result of the food after waiting that long. 3 of 4 people at our table all had barely warm meatloaf. Ginger was empathetic of the entire experience and I could tell she cared. She offered free desert since I canceled my order and sent the food back. She didn’t want me to be hungry after all that waiting. How nice is that 🙂 Anyway, even with this terrible experience I still left the 20% tip because Lynsey & Ginger shouldn’t be penalized for whatever happened in the kitchen. I only put 3 stars for the service because that’s the average between 5 stars for the servers and 1 star for the kitchen crew. I’ve been to other locations in different states and know this was probably a one-off, but management should know and research how and what happened this afternoon.

I have visited this restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Honestly, I would only go here for breakfast as most of the items for that meal are cooked fresh. The lunch items, especially the sides, are canned or frozen goods. The food is not bad and there is a shop where you can buy a range of gifts, clothes, and candy but they all seem overpriced. I would go here again, it would not be my first pick however.

We love Cracker Barrel. The food is awesome and we love shopping in the gift shop. They continue to improve their menu. This time we ordered the Grandma’s Sampler. It has two pancakes, two eggs, one bacon, one sausage and a choice of hams. Our server was “T”, a young black woman who was very attentive and helpful. My daughter said she was the best server ever…that might have been a little over the top, but she was Good!

I’ve been coming to Cracker Barrel for so many years. My Dad passed in 2018, and I haven’t been back . I went yesterday and this morning as usual the food was delicious. They have awesome customer service. Our Waiter & Waitress were the best I’ve ever had.

This crew did a bang-up job for Thanksgiving, and may God bless them: They were knocking down the doors for business. The holiday meal and choices were terrific, and hit the spot. Despite how beat up they were, the service was on point, friendly, and efficient. This crew was dialed in on what I’m sure is their biggest day of the year. They showed out. And every bit of the meal hit–still just like Nana’s house. Keep it going!
