The atmosphere is 5 stars.
The bathroom is always clean, at least each time I go in. That’s a big deal. Their Hibachi is always great. Steak, shrimp chicken, it’s always cooked to perfection. I always recommend the steamed gyoza, the sweet chili shrimp, or the edamame as appetizers. The sushi rolls are out of this world, though. My go tos are the fried Superman, the Louisiana roll, the Ole Miss roll, or the super crunchy roll. They are my favorites. I’m still making my way down the sushi menu to add more to my favorites list. Everyone is so friendly and the service is great. I will always recommend it!
Update: I tried the Jalapeño bombs, very good.
We tried the American dream room and it was good as it was something new to try and I’m glad I did.

Visited this location around 3:30 PM on Saturday 10/25/25, and I was one of the only two customers in the restaurant. I had to request my drink while the server was playing on her phone and when I receive my food, it wa not hot. Very poor service during this visit.

There are several of these Yamato restaurants around the area. I have tried them all and this is the best one. It’s not even close. Restaurant is a little dated but for the price and flavor who cares? Steak hibachi and dragonfly roll are consistently good.

The steak had a very nice sear. The dressing on the salad was fresh and obviously made in house. The tea was brewed fresh on order. Highly recommend this place. I travel extensively and this would be in the top 3 hibachi restaurants that I have been to.

Its a basic hibachi place that doesn’t cook the food in front of you. The inside is pretty basic but it was clean. The waitress was attentive and the food was delicious. Decent prices. Overall it was a great experience.
