We went to rustic root on a spontaneous whim for a pre Christmas celebration with a dear friend and her 4 year old daughter…Santa showed up and made our day!! It was the first time she had ever seen Santa live and it lit up an already beautiful room. The decorations were amazing, the food was delicious, and the store within the restaurant was fabulous but it was the server, Gabby, that made this entire experience for us!! She shared her scrumptious baked goods and her bright personality and it absolutely brought joy to our experience!! We were so pleased and excited that we shared a few tears while we developed this magical relationship during the holidays!! I am forever grateful for that snowy morning when everything was getting cancelled that we showed up to this enchanted place on Main Street in Beech Grove! 10/10 would recommend!! And definitely get a pot of tea…it’s so worth the experience and the vibe!!

The best chicken salad and potato soup I’ve ever had. The staff is incredibly kind and went out of their way for my young daughter. The prices are also wildly low for what you get. With more time available, it would have been easy to buy several unique and adorable items from the gift shop.

Celebrated Valentines day a day early with some friends and had a wonderful day. Food was so good. I had the chicken salad and it was delish! We all did the Petite Tea for $22 you get a salad or soup, sandwich, tea and a scone and 3 other sweet treats all presented on a tower. It was beautiful. The atmosphere was great and afterward we had little time to shop!

Everything was absolutely perfect! Not a single detail was overlooked. Destiny was an absolutely amazing server.

We went with my husband’s family for birthdays! Very good service and nice selections for lunch! I had 1/2 a spicy chicken on a croissant and their very good potato soup. There were 5 of us and everyone was pleased with their selection. Three of us ordered their specialty hot teas served in their own beautiful teapots. Accompanied with a very pretty porcelain cup and saucer. I had the ice tea which was also very good. A nice surprise at the end was a special cupcake with a candle for each of us with a birthday and singing too from our staff. So nice!! When you are done with your dining experience there is a lovely gift shop with lots of fun things to see. The entire place was decorated for Christmas which was also fun to look at. There is also a bakery on the premises with beautiful looking cakes for sale. That will definitely be something I’d like to try on my next visit. I highly recommend this restaurant and the friendly staff and good food. Thank you for a lovely experience and I am definitely looking forward to coming back!!

Such an adorable small little tea room. The rooms are so beautiful. So much to look at and very girly. It felt very much like cake bake but more rustic interior decor! Food was really good esp the potato soup!!! The tea was nice. I dont drink tea often but it was worth trying. All the plates were beautiful! Def recommend for a party!

Had an absolutely delightful lunch with a friend this afternoon at the Rustic Root Tea Room. The atmosphere is so charming. The food was light yet filling. I had a grilled chicken salad that hinted of Asian seasoning on a bed of fresh greens and strawberries glazed with a light balsamic vinaigrette dressing and accompanied by fresh fruit. I cannot wait to bring my granddaughter here. She will love it.

Out of town visitor, getting to spend some girl time with friends. Every room here was breathtaking. So many things to see. Food was phenomenal. The tea was delicious, and I loved that everything was served on vintage China dishes. Reminded me of holidays with my grandmother.
Was given choice of scone or cinnamon bread, so glad I chose the cinnamon bread. It was like coffee cake! Had to share with my table.
Everyone at table was very happy with their food choice. When I’m back in town, this will definitely be a return visit. Hardest part will be what to try next!
