We were staying in the hotel and needed a quick breakfast before hitting the road. Generally speaking, it is about the same type of breakfast buffet and options one may be used to getting. It was good. The was quick and very nice. Good way to start the day.

Friendly staff, and food came out fast. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and had my food in under 10 minutes. One table over had their food in close to 5 minutes. I’ve never had breakfast come out so quickly!

Food was good, too, and at a price I would expect from a hotel restaurant. Some acoustical treatments would go a long way here, though, as it was fairly noisy despite being only half full…

Presentation was awesome, though, and looked very high class. Especially for how fast it came out.

I enjoyed an over priced breakfast it was a generous egg portion and bacon [portion, I ate the leftovers for breakfast this morning. I used the toaster and microwave in the cafe to heat it up. It was just as good the next day. They added a toasted tomato and asparagus to the plate. It was tasty. I had a similar meal in Chicago for half the price in September.

The food was okay. It’s your typical hotel food. However, the lady sitting at the front area with the curly hair @ approximately 7:20 A.M. on 05/04/2024 was very rude.

I spoke and said good morning, then I asked for a menu. She never even spoke back AND rolled her eyes when I asked for the menu. When I handed the menu back, she looked at where the stack of menus were, rolled her eyes, and firmly snatched the menu back. I’m not sure if she was having a bad morning but that was unacceptable. My server was nice and friendly, though.

Ya’ll know this Minnesota girl was thrilled to find asparagus in my pack out breakfast sandwich! The egg and bacon were fresh and cooked to perfection, thank you local farmers! Quick, friendly, and personalized service! I was in a hurry to get back to my conference and they had me in and out in minutes. *also, you’ll always wow me with compostable to go containers. Don’t listen to the people who grumble about it, they’ll adapt eventually.

Could have really gone better!! We had horrible table service – orders not taken right, very cold and unwelcoming staff (waiting staff) behavior.

Got coffee twice over, each time it was almost cold. And the staff would go on to explain how it’s made in another part of the building and it turns up cold when they receive it. I wasn’t asking for too much in a restaurant when I asked for my coffee to be hot, but maybe I was.

Ok, so the food was good. Whoever they have working in the kitchen is quite good. I have to give them that.

The serving staff? Not so much. Basically if you’re not getting the breakfast buffet they just don’t know what to do. They have getting you coffee and water down pat and NOTHING else. They seem actively confused by any other request, including other beverages and even seem put off by the concept of you asking questions about the menu (we didn’t even want any modification, we just literally had a couple questions). They were not short staffed. There actually seemed to be an over abundance of staff. None of whom seemed emotionally prepared for any kind of verbal interaction with guests (or they just cared so little it seemed that way).

Multiple times they just mumbled something in response to a request or question, we asked again what they said, they mumbled again and turned to wander away and ignored us asking again, still having no idea what they said. Literally just walked away as we were speaking. And again, NOT SHORT STAFFED AT ALL. There were literally 3 other staff slowly wandering around nearby the tables just adjacent to us.

Requested a soda at the beginning. Asked 3 more times before they said they don’t have that kind of soda. Asked for an alternative and even later finally get a glass of completely flat soda.

It honestly felt like they didn’t have an actual servers and are just forcing the cleaning staff to fill in. That was the quality of the interaction.

But again, the kitchen staff are on point. The food was good so I can’t one star them. I don’t know what’s going on with their front of house staffing, the contrast in quality from the kitchen to the front was absolutely baffling.

So take that as you will.
