Used to love this place but it was awful today. seasoning was off, rice was different, diet coke didn’t taste like diet coke…. soup was good. but my whole family who very much has loved to eat here in the past was not impressed. It made us all have upset stomachs.

Just left there about an hour ago and geez I have a horrible taste that has been left in my mouth. Ordered Katsu chicken which was actually just frozen chicken strips (not traditional katsu), shrimp and vegetable medley, and spring rolls. Nothing was fresh. The vegetables which included broccoli, cauliflower and carrots seemed like they came out of a can of freezer and loaded with sugar! The shrimp was definately precooked frozen shrimp and added to the mess. The rice was mushy, actually everything was over cooked and mushy! So much sauce! The only thing I would say that was somewhat okay was the spring rolls. The only reason we took the leftovers was because my better half didn’t have the heart to have them throw it out. Over priced and terrible. We won’t go back. I wish my phone service would have worked there in the area, so I could have read the reviews before trying them out!

We had dinner here tonight and it was absolutely Delicious ! We had the 2 combo meals for $39.99 special and we both chose Teriyaki Chicken and Pepper Steak which came with an apetizer and soup with drinks included in the $39.99 price.

My family has been eating here weekly for months, but tonight was the last time. It was an hour before close the restaurant had plenty of people in it there was probably 20 plus people at the buffet, we had to ask for fresh food because there was none and then we were told that there wouldn’t be any more food brought out tonight. It’s bad business all the way around. I could understand if it was 10 minutes to close, but what do you intend the guests eat that have paid for dine in ? And then he laughed like it was funny. I kindly sat my tray of rice down and left. Respect goes a long way in customer service and this man had no respect for the people paying for his business to run. Good luck.

We ate dinner here on a busy Saturday evening. We waited about a minute to be seated and Francisco, our waiter, was quick to come out and take our drink orders. He explained the menu to us and gave us a few suggestions. FRANCISCO IS SUCH A GOOD WAITER!

I moved away from Johnson City over a year ago, and this was always one of my favorite Japanese restaurants. I was back in town today and went by, and wow has the food changed and not for the good. This place went from being some of the best Japanese food I had ever eaten to the absolute worst. I didn’t even finish my plate. Unfortunately it will not be where I stop next time I’m in town. I hope they get their act together it used to be so good.
