This is my favorite restaraunt for any celebrations. The appetizers and tapas are out of the world good. The sushi is also good but there are some places in Toronto that can surpass it. Still, all in all, a fantastic place. Im super addicted to the shrimp bombs and recommend the karage chicken, fried tofu, and takoyaki as well. Best Japanese restaraunt in Quebec!

And dessert is a must! We tried all of them. The miso caramel was my favorite but all of them are fantastic.

Arguably the best restaurant in Mont Tremblant. Food is excellent. Sushi is creative and fresh and the lunchtime ramen is a fantastic pick me up. The decor and smooth jazz music lends a wonderful relaxing vibe.

Had the pork ramen soup and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich and full of flavour, the pork was perfectly seasoned and tender, and the mushrooms were generous. The noodles were excellent as well. A true hidden gem at the base of the lifts next to the Magasin de la Place. I’ll definitely be back for more.

Good food but at an expensive price.

I cant say anything bad about the food or service. The food was tasty and the people were very friendly. As a sushi lover thats frequented many sushi bars across the country, I just feel that while the food it good it doesn’t exactly justify the price.

I understand its in a tourist area and that tends to come with some price inflation. Was it good, yes. Would I pay the same money for the meal again, no.

Everything was amazing. Tried the cucumber salad, gyoza and ramen. The cucumber salad itself was so good, but the sauce just made it even better. The Gupta had this amazingly crispy crunch and taste, and the ramen broth and noodles were SO GOOD! 10/10 Orange green tea was also shockingly good, and exceeded my expectations by a long shot.

Awesome atmosphere! Great, friendly service!

We’ve been here twice. First time the food was excellent, sushi and everything, done to perfection. Except for some spicy thing we ordered that wasn’t spicy at all… But the server reduced the bill by about 50 cents. Yeah, strange amount to reduce a bill by. He told us he gave us a discount, just as he was handing me the machine to tip him. Didn’t tell us it was only 50 cents.

Also, we had finished a bottle of wine and were interested in having just a glass more each, and the server gave us a recommendation and brought us the glasses of wine without letting us know they were $35 each. Always ask how much the glasses are because they’re not on the wine list. Very sneaky.

The second time we came here, the wine list may have changed. There were no wines that appealed to us, and they were super expensive. No reasonable options. The sushi rice was totally off, was not sticky or tasty at all. Very unappealing.

Expect to pay close to $300 for a moderate meal for two here. We probably won’t be back based on the quality of the sushi the last time.

We tried going for dinner around 6:30pm on a Friday. It was busy and the wait was about 30 minutes but they didn’t take your name and number down so we decided to leave.
We went back the next day for lunch and really enjoyed ourselves. The ramen was super tasty (only on the lunch menu) and we got a sushi sandwich special which was incredible. Really great service as well 🙂

Yama-No-Kami Pub is a hidden gem! Their sushi and sashimi are incredibly fresh and delicious. I was also pleasantly surprised by the tempura—it was light, crispy, and not overly battered like you find at some other places. Great food and quality all around. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
