I ordered an order of garlic cheese online and it said on the website it was ready. Waited 10 minutes when I got there, so it was not ready. Received order late and it has a deep thumb hole in the middle of the garlic bread. Unacceptable product for $7

When I called the young man I spoke to on the phone seemed very anxious to get off the phone. I started out with 2 subs and garlic bread he then gives me a total and asks me if its going to be cash or credit. I then told him I wasn’t done with my order he apologized and finally added the last thing and the sauce to my order. Then he gives me my total said it would be here when its get here and hangs up. Never even got to pay for my order. I then called them back same young man answers I tell him I never got to pay for my order, I then pay for it and he hangs up again. When my order arrived it did come nice and hot which is awesome however me and my fiance was unhappy with the subs. For the price of a 12 inch it could have been filled better then they are. I ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch Sub when i took a bite of my sub it was mostly bread ranch and bacon. There was hardly any chicken or cheese on this sub. Couldn’t even eat the second part. I use to love East of Chicago Subs back in the day and I can say I’m very unhappy with my experience, and the portions we received for the price we paid. Just wasn’t the same like it was 7 years ago.

We went for the lunch Pizza buffet. There were only two kinds of the dessert pizza which was an apple and cherry cobbler type pie. I would have preferred a different variety like the custard pie. The pizzas themselves were pretty tasty and a decent variety, four or five different kinds. They have a salad bar to with several items, and wings would have been nice on the buffet for lunch. It’s not necessarily the fault of this restaurant but everything is so expensive anymore when you dine out. I didn’t really feel that it was worth the price that was $25 for two people.

I didn’t get any of the names of anyone working on Wednesday 11/12/25 but they were genuinely a group of the sweetest people on the planet. They weren’t pushy or upset about us arriving closer to close (7:20pm), they offered to make something special that they didn’t have out just for us (and even asked if my 4 year old wanted anything special) to which we declined as we just wanted something kid friendly (pizza was the obvious choice). There was one guy in particular that was super warm, accommodating, and friendly. Such a wholesome group of people working the closing shift there.

Waited 20 minutes for a pizza. They said they didn’t have the order maybe I called a different store. Norwalk Ohio on my phone call. Then they said oh we must have given it to someone else. But they could make another one. Where is the owner. Step up so we went to Wakeman. Alway get great service and great pizza. Never will go back to this place

My family had a very negative experience here today, we went to the pizza buffet and asked for some pepperoni pizza and were flatly told no. There were quite a few pizzas out but nothing plain cheese or pepperoni, everything had mushrooms, olives or onions on it and it all looked like it had been sitting out since they opened 90 min before (it’s not like pepperoni pizza is the American standard or anything). I had to tell the manager that we would not be paying for the buffet if they refused to provide a basic pizza for us to eat and one that had not been sitting out since they opened at noon. Service was good and so was the pizza once they cooked it but it should not be a battle to get a pepperoni pizza at a buffet.
This is an iconic pizza place in the area and I was sad to see it under such poor management (skinny older guy with the mustache). I made a point to stop on my visit home from Chicago but unless things improve I will just have stick pizza post or pizza brothers next time…

Buffet was good but young waitress doesn’t like to pickup dirty plates or come by to ask if you need a refill, you have to ask poor service…pizza came out slow, so I had the salad bar maybe two slices of pizza. I recommend the establishment but they just need to inform waitress to come by and grab dirty plates, and try to keep pizza on buffett, We had a large table with other guest’s and no where to put dirty plates. Most of the time it’s good, wasn’t impressed this time around.

The service was slow. Food was not hot and spaghetti noodles were not fully cooked. Sandwiches when placed on tray fell apart and sloppy. Restroom floor very dirty and sticky smelled. I will no be going back any time soon. It needs some serious help.

Went for the buffet. My son enjoyed the selection of pizzas. They have salad bar and pudding. They had their subs our on buffet area and made us a “special” pizza. Was pretty good.

We were a group of 10. The buffet was open, so we went. Everything was great. The server Lizzie was very attentive and made sure we had what we needed. The buffet was stocked well, and they replenished all the time! Great job to the whole team! We will be back!
