I’m surprised this place wasn’t busy. The atmosphere and decor was upscale and chic. Service was good. The best was the food. Sushi had perfect ratio of rice to fish/filling and was super fresh. The ramen was superb. Noodles perfectly cooked with Rich pork Bone broth. The dinnerware was upscale and luxurious. I don’t mind the disposable chopsticks but they could be a little less cheap. They don’t match with the luxury of the plates, decor and food.

We had the fried octopus balls as an appetizer. They were very tasty but didn’t have a lot of octopus in them. I had the Miso Ramen which was delicious and my friend head the kiss of fire sushi roll. The place is clean and the service was good. I’ve been a few times and it has yet to disappoint. It’s also never really that crowded so it’s easy to get in and out fairly quickly.

Had Tonkatsu Ramen, some of the eggs were overcooked, broth was tasty but needed more of it, noodles cooked well, pork was amazing. Had a philly roll and california which was supposed to be a shrimp tempura so the order was messed up. The sushi was very sub par. Also had the bcon wrapped scallops which were $10 for 3 scallops and scallops were not cleaner properly, some grit from sand. But they tasted okay with the bacon. Overall very sub par, which is why I am giving this 3 stars. I would not recommend to the Ramen/Sushi Connoisseur.

Loved the food. It came on time. Except ramen everything was superb. We landed up ordering lamb and buns appertizer again. Ambience was little dark for my taste. Overall good experience.

I was craving Ramen for about a week or so before I went to go try this place out. Sad to say I was not very impressed. Appetizer came out undercooked. When the ramen came there are missing the main ingredient, the pork. Not to mention the soup was totally cold. I had to send it back and ask for a nice hot fresh Bowl. It still came out with no steam but I was tired of complaining, and just settled with the mediocre Ramen. I’m hoping it was a fluke, I’m willing to give this place another shot and hopefully change my review.

すごいですね! うまい。Ramen came out crazy fast and the flavors are out of this world. Pure umami. $5 hot sake on Wednesdays. The service was sublime and the atmosphere cool as hell. #1 authentic Japanese in Charlotte.
