I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place!!! My only complaint is they’re always busy during dinner every weekend, so I recommend visiting during weekday dinner; especially if you want to get seated quick. I am still giving 5 stars obviously for the service, food, and location itself. Once you are able to taste their ramen, sushi, curry, and etc, you will know why this place is always busy. I think this is the only place that they serve Takoyaki? (I might be wrong) I love ordering their Takoyaki everytime I go here! You can never go wrong with that. Their ramen is so delicious and very flavorful. I can’t really compare this to Okinawa since I’ve never been there, but I am sure it is close. The atmosphere and the vibe of this place reminds me of Japan (from what I’ve seen watching documentaries). I love seating at their bar area since I can somewhat see the kitchen and behind the scene. We are absolutely coming back here especially with my takoyaki cravings! This spot is also one of the ideal date night places. Don’t miss out!

Dropped in for lunch. Got the house special lunch (vegetable yakisoba, vegetable fried rice & karaage). Notice they had spam musubi and ordered that also. Service was quick; portions large. However, I was expecting a teriyaki glaze on the spam, but the musubi came out with the spam just pan fried; kind of salty with the furikake and nori. The karaage was not seasoned/marinated very well. Came out with a mayonnaise-based sauce. Expecting a tonkatsu sauce.

I was surprised as had such good food here before. The chicken yakisoba was a total disappointment. Well prepared cook wise, very poorly seasoned. The pieces of chicken had zero sauce/flavor and tasted more like boiled in plain water. I will go back and give them another chance as their fried rice is the bomb.

A great little Japanese place with Okinawan fare. Went there on a Saturday night and it was extremely busy. We put our names on a wait list and walked around for 30 minutes while we waited for a table and eventually got seated at the bar in front of the kitchen. Got a bit of sushi to share as well as the taco rice and unadon (unagi donburi), which came with miso soup. The sushi was good and tasted fresh. The taco rice was tasty. The unagi was charred instead of grilled, but was otherwise good. The staff were polite, quick, and attentive. Overall a great place and I will definitely be dining here again.

Just amazing! Best fried rice in Onslow County. The ramen was great. Affordable for a bowl of ramen, sushi & side of fried rice.

This is one of my favorite spots for quick Japanese food. You can order to go and they’ll bring it out to your car. Everyone is so friendly here, too!

Been going to this place every weekend or every other weekend for about 2-3 years now. Food is great, I suggest giving everything a shot, I was never a fan of curry but this place change that real fast. The service here is just great, food is cool fast but as good as the ones back in Japan

We took our daughter here for her birthday because she was missing Okinawan food. This is the first Asian food place we really liked. The portions were large and very flavorful. My husband shared the mega ramen with our youngest and it was definitely big. It also came with fried rice and gyoza. My other two kids got the chicken katsu bento box and there was so much food and variety in one bento box. I had the sushi box and we also ordered yakitori and shrimp and veggie tempura (not pictured).
