Very flavorful Mexican cuisine and great service. We stopped at Nayarit Restaurant while traveling, so we aren’t locals and didn’t know what to expect. The Mahi tacos were fabulous, as was the pablano meal. Service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is located at an end of a strip mall, so is somewhat basic, but it was clean and had some interesting artwork on the walls and some patio seating. We will return when back in Durango.

I took my whole family here, 7 of us for some good Mexican food and that’s what we got. Atmosphere and service was great. It got louder as more people were coming in. We all enjoyed our food and will definitely come back again.

Everything here is always AMAZING! My husband and I used to live in Durango several years ago. We stored some items here, so when we came to move them we knew we had to stop here for dinner! As always everything was absolutely delicious! We have dietary issues and the kitchen more than accommodated and delivered a wonderful healthy meal! Our server was great! The dinner was reasonable in price! All around a great experience!

I’ve been there several times and I know the managers very well, but
the last time the manager seemed very unfriendly. He appeared to be an employee who used to be a waiter. Honestly, I think they should have truly qualified managers. He seemed not to understand what people were saying to him because he apparently didn’t speak English. I appreciate everyone’s work, but I didn’t feel as comfortable as I did with the other managers.

We love coming here. Food is always delicious, servers not only are attentive they seem like they are having a good time. My husband loves this restaurant so much. It’s just fun, great drinks and good Mexican food. We are from New Mexico so it’s a treat to eat Mexican, not New Mexican! Mahi tacos are always a favorite!

The food was so good! We got the queso fundido with nopales, the molcajete mexicano, and the chile relleno. The queso fundido was delicious with the complementary chips and salsa. The chile relleno was also delicious, it comes with queso fresco inside which doesn’t melt, so that’s something to consider if you’re expecting melted cheese inside it. It tasted very authentic though. I did not eat from the molcajete but my family really enjoyed it. It was shared amongst three people and they could not finish it. It is listed in the menu as being able to feed 2-3 people but honestly it could probably feed 4-5 people since it also comes with two plates of rice and beans, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, and plenty of tortillas. I also got the piña colada and I really liked it, it wasn’t too strong. The service was great although we noticed other people’s food took long to come out. They were short staffed but I think they did great anyway. I highly recommend this place and I cannot wait to come back when we are back in town.
The only con was the tortillas were not heated, they tasted like they just came out of the package but everything else was great so it wasn’t a big deal to us.

Excellent food, service and staff. Was in town for a conference and stumbled across this restaurant. So glad I decided to eat here. The enchiladas, chips and salsa were delicious. I would definitely recommend this place. Fast service and quality food.

Our server was exceptionally friendly, and both the drinks and food were delicious. I ordered the quesadilla, which was generously loaded with fresh vegetables—just the way I prefer. The quality and portion size were impressive. I would be pleased to return.

Was worried about Colorado Mexican food being from New Mexico (sorry Colorado) but this was very good. Much in the vein of Tequilas. Salsa was great! Good flavor with New Mexico heat. Rick was a very attentive server and was bartending. The individual street tacos lets you try different meats. Didn’t try anything alcoholic this time but looking forward to another visit here.
