This (Powell Location) place used to be awesome 5 years ago. Now there food is absolutely disgusting. Inconsistently bad at best; just levels of how bad it is that night. Ordered several bowls of chicken chili because it has been so good the past few months. Then is the course of a week they managed to give us beef chili(which almost put me in urgent care as I haven’t eaten red meat in decades), then on the reorder they couldn’t count the correct number of bowls to include in the order. It was 3, received 1. Then to make it “better” they gave me a 20$ gift card to cover the 40$ in inedible carry out we received and paid for, and then to cover the actual food they “replaced” it tonight with not even half full containers of watery beans and a ton of pepper as the “replacement.” I was told when I called that the way it came tonight was packaged by the owner himself; which speaks volumes in itself about the state of the restaurant anymore, but also the way it was made tonight is the exact recipe as should be. It’s absolutely horrid and nowhere close to what I’ve received before from this location as well as the Lewis Center location. In fact if you’re going to go to Yabos, which I don’t recommend, do yourself a favor and head to Lewis Center. Only a few miles further and you won’t be wasting your money on what another reviewer accurately described as “cat food”. Thanks for nothing Yabos, it used to be great, now I wouldn’t eat there for free. The owner signed off this whole experience and told the manager there was nothing more they could do. Which if you have worked in food service, you know is code for “make them go away, we screwed up bad but this isn’t going to cost us enough money in the long run to care about this customer at all in the short”. Good luck Yabos, be interesting if you’re still there in 6 months as when I ordered originally on a Saturday at a sports bar they were closing early at 8:30pm and not 11:00 due to lack of customers. And this is an almost everyday occurrence as noted by other reviewers. These kind of service experiences should really help that. Save your money. I truly hate doing these kinds of reviews, but with the price of food anymore these days I feel obligated.

We came on a Saturday night around 6pm. It wasn’t busy. Inside had a very relaxed sports bar vibe. We were told to have a seat, but our waiter took a really long time to bring menus, in fact he never took our order the bar tender noticed we weren’t being helped and came over and waited on our table. The tacos were fine. They have some interesting options for some. The chips and salsa were really good but they’re not complimentary. Overall it’s a sports bar style taco shop with less traditional taco options, but I had a poor experience because of the service.

Had an amazing time didn’t know what to expect not being local to Columbus but the tacos and quesadillas were delicious and got to enjoy a car meet as well

Best service by Gabe! He was phenomenal. There was a table of 6 “Karen’s and Darren’s” behind us. They were absolutely rude and mean. Gabe took it in stride and kept giving the best service. Amazing!!! Dylan is the cook and made amazing food and came out to talk with us. Seriously – everything exceeded expectations tonight.

The food was excellent, tons of choices and our server Gabe did a fantastic job. Everything he recommended was absolutely fantastic and cooked to perfection. They also have a selection of sauces to add to the food and the hardest part was trying to figure which one I wanted on my food.

I thought Taco Bell was bad, but this place is much worse. The chicken quesadilla tasted like cat food with barely any chicken inside the quesadilla. The Chimi Bites had a really weird after taste. I was throwing up in the toilet minutes after eating this garbage that they call food here. Don’t order food here save your money.

Came here for the first time with family. Had a draft list, the first 2 I chose they came back and told me they didn’t have anymore so drink menus need to be updated. Tacos were amazing. Food tasted really good. The restaurant itself is a bit dark and could use some updating, Tables are mostly high tops but they do have some booths. I will say they do need to clean and refill/replace their sauce bottles. Some of them appeared old. My table most of the bottles were empty. Otherwise will come back to try their other tacos

Firstly sports bars are not my thing, but Mexican restaurants are. This place is super laid back, GFS laid back. The chicken is pretty good but the queso is more like nacho dip from a jar. The sour cream tastes like it was made from powdered milk. Chips and salsa or chips and anything is considered an appetizer to be paid for but the meal is cheaper. I had a burrito and I didn’t even get half way through before I was sick from the cheese. The ambience is more like a sonic drive in than a Buffalo Wild Wings. Not for me.

This was the 3rd or 4th catering order I have placed with Yabo’s in Powell and this was probably the best. I didn’t have to wait long after I arrived and nothing was missing. The food was amazing, as usual, and, as always, there was plenty for everyone! Definitely recommend if you need easy food for a group.
