You can definitely tell they are under new management. It reminds me of when they first opened. No exaggeration the fried dumplings ate the best ive tasted in a long time. I wish they had a location in broward. They even have authentic Jamaican Ice cream: Stout, pistachip grapenut, egg nog, red velvet, rum raisin, grapenut, etc. I will be back again. Highly recommend to check them out even if you came before. I requested chickpeas as im vegan.

This is probably the best Jamaican food i had in a long time. $7.99 a plate for lunch?! You can’t beat that. The guy upfront who served us the food was extremely friendly. My fiancé said he wants to go back for dinner… go try this place, it is well worth it.

Coming from NY this location seems to keep the same narrative as many other Jamaican kitchen spots that I’ve visited over the years.
The food is there and ready but it takes anywhere from 15-20 minutes to get it after you pay.
Pros: Professional Counterperson Good Tasting Food. That’s about it.
Cons: No Menus. (Anywhere) Decor is extremely tired and worn out. Lack of food from the unavailable menu. Service is professional but slow. The microwaved veggies with the meal. Then there’s the pricing for what you want.
$70+ dollars for two meals, 2 beef patties and five drinks. They may be a hit for the locals but it’s a sure miss for me.
