I’ve had several hundred La Costeña burritos in the last 30 years across at least three locations. Consistently the best tasting burrito in the south bay. Highly recommend if you’re hungry for a filling meal at a great price in a convenient form factor. Because nobody asked, my go-to order: Mountain View special, Al Pastor, black beans, Spanish rice, scoop of fire, scoop of pico.

Great pricing and great burritos but all the dishes are good because they use fresh ingredients prepared daily.
I almost always get the regular burritos here but the tacos are great too. Get the 3 taco plate and you can also get it with rice and beans. Usually I get today’s special as it comes with a free can soda and I like the surprise. My favorite is the chicken mole but all of them are really good.
Service always awesome the chefs happily make you food. Fresh ingredients and happy chefs make great food!

I ordered the Mountain View burrito with carne asada, and my husband ordered the daily special which was a chile verde burrito. We had super fast service, which was great, it was ready in a couple of minutes. The tortillas was nice and soft, and I particular liked the rice and carne asada. I didn’t care for the guacamole, so next time I’d prefer a regular burrito with the meat, beans, rice, cheese, and include pico de gallo. My husband wished the chile verde burrito had more flavor. The horchata was good. I would say if you are looking for a quick Mexican lunch, then this is a good place to grab a quick bite. It was convenient that they have a sink in the seating area so that you can wash your hands before and after you eat.

Got a carne asada bowl (just like a burrito but with no tortilla) and paid the $3.50 for extra meat. Honestly, it was bland.

The burrito range goes from regular to huge and everything in between. They will customize your order and offer daily specials. This is my go to burrito place. Lots of choices and has been at the same location for years. They have lots of dishes on the menu but I’m hooked on their fresh, juicy and delicious burritos

Went there with intention of getting breakfast, I was in line before 11 there were 2 ppl ordering in front of me who were indecisive, the cashier refused to let me order breakfast because it was 11:01 and they stop at 11:00. I was in the door well before 11, we left with out ordering food and drinks which would have been $40 or more. This is poor customer service and I hope they lose more than this in the future. They certainly lost a potential loyal customer because of 1 minute. With the the amount of restaurants in the area I guess they can still afford to turn customers away.

**Cash Only Warning** This is a great Mexican taqueria in a prime location next to several tech offices. They only accept cash, so that was a little unfortunate but there is an ATM in the nearby liquor store. The food is good, what you would expect from a decent taqueria. They have most of the main Mexican dishes. The burrito I got was actually really good. The cheese they use is fresh and the meat was well cooked.
If you’re looking for a quick eat and want Mexican food with taqueria quality and favor, you can’t go wrong here. Just bring cash.
Plenty of parking, liquor store and coffee nearby, well lit, and safe. I didn’t see any outdoor seating, but there’s enough indoor seating. It doesn’t get too crowded here either.
