XP Gaming and Cafe is a board cafe that specializes in gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and espresso drinks. Our espresso beans are locally roasted by Collective Coffee Roasters. Come in with family and friends and play a game (free of charge) from our board game library or get a Tabletop group together and play DnD or Pathfinder! We have Friday Night Magic every Friday and we are also a retailer for Wizards of the Coast. Come for the fun, stay for the XP!

I wanted to check this cafe out for awhile. Family invited us for dinner and games. I’m thinking this place is loaded with geeks. Wait! I am one. Not disappointed- food, atmosphere, and games were great. Where else can you get beat at Yahtzee while eating amazing grilled sandwiches? Love it. Try it.

As soon as I walked in, i was rocking out to the music, there’s tons of tabletop games to play, the owners are such sweet people, and the food was so delicious! I loved it here. Definitely a gamer vibe that everyone can enjoy!

Best Coffee in town. I’m from the PNW and nothing brings me back home like a 12oz mocha from XP. I’m not a gamer and all I care about is great coffee. I’ve been to all coffee shops in Elko/SC, and this place makes the best most consistent cup of premier coffee. EXPECT TO TAKE YOUR TIME AND DO NOT RUSH THEM, locally owned and a beautiful small comfy spot.

This was such an amazing find! We got blended coffees (highly recommend the butterbeer latte!), sandwhiches (there’s seasoning in the bread that just took it to a whole new level), fries, and tortellini ceasar salad (a MUST). I have nothing bad to say for the food; we loved it.

Brought my 3 year old here one morning for breakfast and games and we were the only ones, the lady working was new. I could hear here freaking out in the back, not sure why she was all by herself if she couldn’t handle it since we were the only ones with an order for a good 40 mins. Seemed very chaotic and stressed, made for a very weird experience. She kept saying she didn’t know what she was doing and cursing, multiple times. Not the best experience to bring a 3 years old to. I hope they can train their employees better, it was a mess.

I’ll be direct, I was quite surprised to find this gem of a games cafe in Elko. One of the first stops in our cross country gaming journey, and I was thrilled to find such welcoming gamers.
