Been here three times now with family in PHill and it’s pretty good! Every time I’ve been the staff have been very helpful and friendly. I have not had any issues with the food, it’s all good, especially the mango margarita! I’m a sucker for a good margarita! My sister loves the quesabirria tacos, I really enjoy the carne asada, and my dad likes the chicken enchilada.

Very good steak tacos. My wife enjoyed her seafood enchiladas. The rice here is awesome. The margaritas were a little tart for my taste. The chips were a little stale and the salsa doesn’t have very much spice to it. The service was great. Food was on the pricey side but to eat local was well worth it.

I stopped by for lunch takeout on Friday. I didn’t wait Ling to order or to get my food and go. I ordered two burritos with queso, rice, and refried beans. The beef was ground fine. Reasonably priced. This is a great place!

1st the sauce for the chips when you first sit down. It was way too HOT I asked the waiter if they had a milder sauce and he looked at me like I crazy. Not all people like hot stuff. The waiter did ask me if I wanted some cheese dip and I told him yes I guess so. He brought a small bowl of the cheese dip. And since he asked me if I wanted it I didn’t think it would be on our bill but my husband said it was. My husband said that it costs $9.00 for not even a half of cup.

I have eaten here for around two years as I live close by. I ate at the place before it was Xolo and have tried a variety of items on the menu. My wife and I have probably had more than 100 visits total. We have had a bad experience maybe 3 or 4 times against 97 great times. All servers I would complain about are gone, and the current staff are awesome. The food is consistently what I expect from Mexican comfort food. We will continue to eat here and will be *half sarcasm* angry at fellow city dwellers if you let this place go out of business.

Met family (19) for lunch on 5/14/23 for mothers day @ 1:30pm. After two hours we were finally done. The service was some of the worst I’ve ever seen. Never came back for refills on drinks or chips, or came or asked if we needed anything. I’d understand if they had been busy, but they weren’t. To many good Mexican restaurants in the area for Xolo to be this bad, the food was mediocre at best. My wife and I wont ever return.

I live in Harrisonville and discovered this restaurant about 2 weeks ago and have been every week since I found it. The service is so good, the food is even better and the margaritas are great! Would definitely recommend!

If you live in Pleasant Hill and don’t want to make the trek to a larger city, this is definitely the Mexican restaurant to choose! I have eaten frequently at both, and this one is far superior to the only other option in town. The food is delicious with generous portion sizes. And while it’s not totally relevant, the plates and bowls are really cool. Happy hour specials are great and the Margaritas are delicious. I’m pretty certain that the mango margarita had actual real mango in it, which is not always the case! I hope that this establishment stays open. After selling and reopening a couple of years ago, it is not as busy as the old business that was here. But it is much the best option in town for Mexican. Comparing the two choices in town, the food here is far more flavorful and there aren’t hidden fees. At the other restaurant if you ask for hot sauce they will bring you it… and then charge you $1.50. The food is generally lackluster and the service is always surly and lacking. The service here was excellent, the food flavorful, and the price just right! Not much to be done about the atmosphere when you’re limited to a strip mall in a small town.
