Visited with a friend, I got the quesabirria, she got the shrimp torta. We also split the quesabirria egg rolls and bean dip.
The food was good, no complaints. I found the quesobirria eggrolls to be an interesting dish but not to my taste personally.
The quesobirria was very good as was the Torta. I was a little disappointed no hot sauces or chili oils were offered with our food or on the table. But Ai also didnt flag the waiter down to ask so it possible they are available if you request them.

The food was delicious and authentic, really nice balance of flavors. We had a tasting platter after and birria tacos, and then a selection of few tacos. The el jefe margaritas were awesome. The girls who took care of us tonight were so polite, helpful and nice ❤️ we loved everything, recommended the place to everyone!!!

Went there on recommendation of a colleague… she regularly dines there and raved about the torta.
I brought 8 other friends …. We regularly get together at various restaurants including Mexican. We were advised that this place was the real thing…. So we had to give it a try.
I had the torta toluquena ( pardon spelling) and it was both enormous and delicious…packed with an assortment of meats plus veggies. I brought home the leftover half and my wife and I shared this remainder.
For the first time, I tried the Victoria beer ….i suspect this may become my favorite Mexican beer.
We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

This is the best Mexican spot in lousianna.
The waitresses are so nice.
The food is amazing. Their shrimp tacos are ahhhmazikg and make sure to ask to add some cheese.
They also serve some nice strong spicy margarita
They even have delicious breakfast tacos
Their guacamole is fresh and add at the time you order.
Their corn tortillas are home made and absolutely delicious.

If you’re ever in the area it’s a must. They food was very delicious and the flavors are great, hands down this is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants so far in Lafayette Louisiana.

My favorite spot to get birria tacos!
Friendly place and great service. Use to be a food truck, now a restaurant! The place is very clean and the ambiance feels very authentic. Food was also great, and don’t forget about the drinks! We had the following:
Chip and salsa – freshly made to order, very delicious and flavorful! Best around!
Tlacoyo – bean and cheese filled, delicious app to get you started towards your meal
Tacos are great here, my favorites are their al pastor and campechano, you won’t regret it!
Mexicana Plus Torta – super huge torta, fully loaded with a whole bunch of good meat and cheese and avocado, this portion can literally feed a whole family, but you don’t want to, you’ll want to eat it all by yourself since it’s so good
There’s also a kids menu for the little ones, like a simple quesadilla for them to enjoy.
Michelada – rimmed in chamoy, spices, Clamato, and choice of beer – probably one of the best michelada I had around Lafayette, definitely good and refreshing
Coconut margarita – coconut and delicious, a little strong, may get you tipsy!

This place needs to be experienced by all. If you are looking for authentic dishes then this is your place. My family and I just stopped here for dinner, as we have passed it many times. I have not one bad thing to say about it. Service was better than most high dollar restaurants, food was delicious and best of all, the atmosphere was true to the culture. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but inside is well taken care of.
