This place was popping! Took family there bc it was recommended online as top 10 place for a margarita. It was so packed inside and out that we opted to go elsewhere. That Hawaii spirit was evident tho as this lady tried to get my wife to try her $300 cigar!

The private rooms are the best part of this place. The decor in each room is amazing. They have music nights and they’re different every week. Thursdays seem to be the night to go. When we lived in Hawaii we went mainly on the weekend and would get a room but that was when they first opened and it was slow. As of our current 2023 visit the word has gotten out and they are packed and rooms are first come. If visiting HI this is definitely a stop on the list for some dancing and good drinks. The tacos are good well at least the meat but the shells are hit or miss. The first set was good the next one was like they left the shell out for days bc they were so stale. Overall, a very nice establishment but if you go on a busy night be prepared to wait.

There was an active duty military lady from Uganda who walked away from the bar after she ordered a new drink. her friend and I stayed back at the bar. I seen the bar tender toss her drink out. She came back and asked about her drink the bar tender completely ignored us for a while as we called for her attention (8/26/23 1.00 am please fire all on duty) then answered by saying they didn’t know what we were talking about. I defended her and got kicked out. I’ve been here before I’ve never experience such ignorant and incompetent staff at that same location. I will never return to this establishment

We came upon Workplay due to a bar tour we were doing otherwise we likely would have never seen it. They are located down a side street, so not easily viewable from main streets. I highly recommend going here for a laid back and classy vibe. The drinks were great, service wonderful, and the steak quesadilla a wonderful choice for an appetizer. We loved the outdoor lighting and comfy seating. There was live music inside that they showed on all the tvs outside, which is a nice touch.

Food, Service and Atmosphere were top notch. The quesadilla was not your average bar food. Probably one of the best quesadillas I’ve had in a long time. Drinks were top notch. Bartenders were extremely personable and had great recommendations for things to do and places to go on the island.
