I’ve been here several times. It’s a local hidden gem. Every time I come to Bradenton, I stop in. The food is excellent. The wait staff is very nice and professional. They have live bands at night. You can sit right on the water. You can come by boat or by automobile. It’s definitely a bar that you will come back to many, many times. – MK

We went there after a long day of shopping at outlets Ellenton. This was Sunday, live music was on, that’s why I am giving 5 for atmosphere. This place however is ok to eat, food is ok, but expect heavy, fried, most of the menu. We found dishes we converted into wraps, not fried, which was good. They are flexible to change menu original dishes to your liking, which is a big plus. Especially the place is rather busy. What I find unacceptable is serving drinks in flexi plastic cups. My Guinness came in a plastic cup. Shame they serve it that way. Service is quick and efficient. Price ok to quality, but not for the way of serving. Plastic all around, with a paper on it. Generally ok, but not for me. If you are paying 150+ for a lunch, I’d expect not a “grill” like serving.

This time of visit the place was extremely busy because of a live band performed on a beautiful sunny long weekend. Though for the two of us we found seats pretty soon right there side of the pier. We were watching crabs, fish as they waited every bit of crumbles falling to the water to munch on.

Great place for outdoor dining!!! Highly recommend the fish spread and any of the fresh/wild caught fish as well as the peel and eat shrimp. Located on the Manatee River, the atmosphere is casual and carries a party vibe as boaters and landlovers gather at this Florida gem. Live music with dancing encouraged keeps the party going after sunset.

Woody’s was an excellent restaurant to go to! They had live music and the food was absolutely amazing! I would absolutely recommend to anyone that wants to go have a good time for lunch or dinner! It’s nice because it is accessible by boats as well and you can bring your dog with you!

Been here a couple of times and both times it’s been a great experience. Live music, excellent service, and the food is delicious. Can’t really ask for much more. Can’t go wrong with the Fish and Chips or Grouper basket, but I’m looking forward to coming back and trying the rest of the menu.

Nice place for fun dinner. Open or half open seating…unfortunately it was cold, but the patio heaters helped. Excellent food. Very pleasant and professional service. Entertaining live music.

Went to see Drop Dead Dangerous as I am a fan. Had a blast. Good setting. Awesome fish sandwich and great bartenders. It was busy but I was attended to appropriately! I will return when Drop Dead Dangerous returns as it is close to my home and convenient!
