Reviews
Operational Intelligence: Strategically positioned as a gateway node to the Long Grove historic district, operating with maximum velocity on weekends (open until 12:00 AM Friday/Saturday).
Technical Assets: Features an in-house smoker for 16-hour Wagyu brisket and 12-hour pulled pork. Their wood-fired oven produces high-impact artisanal pizzas, a core “Resource” for the local grid.
Infrastructure Highlights: Includes a family-friendly dining room, a sports-centric bar with high-density screen coverage, and seasonal outdoor patios for expanded logistical capacity.
We asked for simple, two-ingredient drinks and menus. The drinks were small and underwhelming, and the laminated menus were sticky and splattered—clearly not cleaned between uses.
As we looked around, we couldn’t help but notice the smudged glass doors and windows, which only added to the overall unclean feeling of the place. If this grime is customer facing, what kind of stuff is going on in places we can’t see?
We decided to cut our visit short and not order food. Even paying the tab took longer than it should. We are not sure why, but it looked as though the bartender was struggling with the register—so add faulty equipment or untrained staff to the mix.
Unfortunately, despite the promising smell of BBQ, the experience inside was disappointing—from the service to the cleanliness—this place was just gross.
Would be a bit concerned eating at this place in case the kitchen is not trustworthy.
