Food was so bland I thought I had Covid! I don’t know if they have really off nights or what but this was seriously the worst Chinese takeout I have ever had. There was nearly zero flavor in anything we ordered.

Food was terrible to the point of not being able to eat. Ordered chicken chow mein and sweet and sour pork. Both tasted like they used old meat and was flamorous. Sweet and sour pork was so tough ended up throwing everything out. We used to go here a lot but not any more. Will go somewhere else. VERY DISAPPOINTED……..IT USE TO BE REALLY GOOD.

Staff were very nice. Food tasted OK. However, everything seemed a bit under seasoned. The Sichuan chicken was not at all spicy and the cashew chicken literally came without cashews (probably just an oversight, but disappointing all the same). Both dishes pretty much tasted the same- like chicken with veggies (which is fine, but not what we ordered). The veggies tasted fresh and the cream cheese wontons were as expected. The fried rice was a bit dry, but we did come in at the end up the day.

Favorite Chinese place on the East Side. I been going here for 40+ years. The family that’s been running it is amazing and the know the definition of customer service here. Great fresh food.

I am extremely disappointed. I was looking forward to a wonderful Chinese dinner. I placed my order and less than 5 minutes GrubHub delivery was already on the way, so I know my food was yesterday’s leftovers and that is EXACTLY what this food tasts like! The cream cheese puffs that I expected to be light and crispy were soggy and tasted like they were soaked in oil. The shrimp fried rice is also clearly old throw away food! Same with the egg foo young. How shameful to sell this garbage to their customers who order take out food with GrubHub. That garbage was expensive! 21dollars of 100% disappointment! I ordered with GrubHub delivery also, so I paid $4.95 plus a 20% tip. Wong’s Kitchen serves garbage food to their customers and they do NOT even deserve ONE STAR!!!

Every-time I take the 54 bus to get home off of Earl and Maryland I stop here to get a bite. Warm hospitality, great American-Chinese staple dishes. 🙂

Could not be happier with my order tonight! I haven’t had sesame chicken that I’ve liked this much in years and the dumplings are very tasty. The sauce for the dumplings was a perfect accompaniment for them and I used it for the egg rolls too! I will definitely be back again!

Been going here since 1988. Still the same great recipes. Never had a complaint with anything that I’ve ordered.

Ordered $50 worth of food and majority of it was not good. Ordered Mongolian chicken and General Tso chicken, which both tasted equally flavorless and bland. The chicken lo mein was mostly noodles and onions, but considering the few pieces of chicken it had didn’t taste great, it would’ve been better with just the onions. The fried rice was ok, but it’s downgraded quite a bit from the previous time I ordered here. I typically enjoy this place for takeout, but this time around was not worth the money I spent.
