Bit disappointed. Grew up loving their food but no longer the same after few yrs returning. Lomein was mediocre w/diff larger noodles than before. Diff veggie types now too, not a fan of new recipe. Fried rice bit underflavored but good amount of meat cept lots of white unflavored rice pieces. Hot n Sour soup not sour at all. Chicken broccoli bland. Cresm cheese wonton & eggrolls typical. May be few more yrs till return or not at all. However, prices very reasonable compared to $15+ dishes at other local chinese takeouts.

First time here, usually I order from no.1 China or great dragon but was disappointed with both last time I ordered so I wanted to a try different place brought 1.shrimp with broccoli sauce was watery and tasteless 2.shrimp Fried rice tasted old (like a dirty pan or oil)
3.General tso chicken DID NOT TASTE LIKE general too chicken idk if the sauce was watered down or what but it was NOT general too! 50$ in the trash, this was the worst chinese food ive even had.

Called in the order of sesame chicken, shrimp fried rice and chicken fried rice. Got there in 10 minutes and it was ready greatly appreciate it.! Love it I will be back !!

Love the sesame chicken and orange chicken —crispy, saucy, and packed with real chicken. Unlike Panda Express, it’s not mostly breading.

Great family run restaurant! I’ve been going here for over 20 years. I used to live close by and now I drive all the way from Apple Valley to get Wong’s for the family.
There is on street parking only, and it’s very small inside. We’ve always done take out. The owners are very friendly and have been the same owners the whole time, support your local family run shop!
The chicken chow mein is some of the best around.

Could not be happier with my order tonight! I haven’t had sesame chicken that I’ve liked this much in years and the dumplings are very tasty. The sauce for the dumplings was a perfect accompaniment for them and I used it for the egg rolls too! I will definitely be back again!

Wong’s Kitchen is a hidden gem in St. Paul. Nothing compares to the service and food. Egg rolls are massive with flavor and orange chicken is never dried out and has a good amount of sauce unlike other spots we’ve tried in St. Paul. Even though we’ve moved out of state when we come back to Minnesota we grab Wong’s Kitchen and the owner still remembers us. Hard to beat that type of customer service.

I love the old-school feel of this place. The restaurant is run by Cantonese Chinese staff, which reminds me of the classic Chinese restaurants back home in California. The food is authentic and fresh, and the service is awesome. Definitely a great spot!
