Katana Japanese Express in Riverview has become one of my go-to spots for sushi over the years. For the price, it’s honestly some of the best quality you’ll find in the area. The fish is always fresh, portions are solid, and everything tastes consistently good, which isn’t always the case with takeout sushi places.
One thing that really stands out here is their sushi pizza. It’s unique to them and has basically become a must-order for us. We split it every time we go — it’s a great appetizer and always hits the spot. Definitely worth trying if it’s your first visit.
I also appreciate how reliable they are overall. Orders are always ready when they say they will be, and pickup is quick and easy. Even when they’re busy, things move fast and smoothly, which makes grabbing dinner simple.
The staff has always been friendly and welcoming whenever I’ve gone in, and they consistently get orders right. That reliability plus the quality keeps me coming back.

Orderes via uber my order was all wrong missing items, such as steak. Paid $21 for a steak ramen w no steak. Uber told me to call the restaurant and the restaurant told me to call uber that they couldn’t refund me and I would have to go all the way back there. Portions were also tiny and not tasty at all

Very good. We had the vegetable hibachi, spring rolls, vegetable sushi with soy paper and side salads. The hibachi was fantastic and a good portion. The spring rolls were good. I usually love sushi with soy paper but I wish I just got them with seaweed in this case. Just didn’t taste quite as good for some reason. The lettuce in the salads was of poor quality but had it been good, it was at least a good portion and good dressing.

Best sushi place!! We love it so much we have ordered twice trying different sushi rolls. If you order the party box B you get 8 classic rolls and 2 special rolls for $51.95. That is a lot of sushi for 6 people. Our favorite is the Godzilla roll. The Hawaiian roll and the Double J roll were delicious too.

The amount of food you get for the price is phenomenal!! On top of that the quality was well above my expectations. If your thinking of eating here for sushi it is 100% worth your time and money. The salmon was fresh, fatty and melted in my mouth. The rolls were stuffed!! 2 pieces of shrimp/chicken in the tempura rolls per piece (8 piece rolls) where most other restaraunts only have one per piece. The chicken hibatchi had great flavor and large amount of food. The chicken was a little fatty for my taste. The Nigiri was amazing and at only $1 a piece you can’t get any better then that. Will definitely be going back.

Ordered delivery and wasn’t disappointed. The sushi was full of flavor and (some) still warm from being baked. The veggie fried rice was just ok, not leaving much of an impression, especially compared to the other things. I would definitely eat here again.

This place is my son’s all time favorite spot to eat so we decided to go there last minute for his 20th birthday…Izzy was an absolute sweetheart and just as excited we choose there to celebrate my son’s birthday she allowed us to put up a few decorations and even played a birthday song for him as he walked in…this meant the world to me how involved she was and what great service her and the other female worker gave to us….she deserves a raise she was so kind and sweet
