As Cantonese food goes, this is a pretty good place to enjoy a nice family-style Cantonese-meal. There are 3 levels in the building: the kitchen and entry is in the first floor, dining area on the 2nd, an another quieter 3rd floor which we preferred.
The quality of the food is really good. Specialties are fresh, live fish, lobster and crabs noodles, pepper steak, beef stew, and for large groups (10+) the set family meal is a good choice.
There are a few items that need to be pre-ordered ahead of time: sea bass and stuffed chicken with sticky rice.
Overall, pretty good. I would come back again…soon.

Nice place to enjoy a Cantonese family meal experience. Pretty efficient and quick service. However may have disability / wheelchair issues, the dining room is on the second floor and you need to go up stairs for it. Overall good food, decent service and a good place for a family meal

Great food, service great and make you feel like home. Beef stew, sweet and sour pork, roaster duck and lamb pot all so good. Oh don’t forget about the fresh live spicy crabs and steamed fish. Just so good. Price fair and definitely will visit again.

Won Kok’s family menu set delivers. We brought a crowd to celebrate Chinese New Year and ordered from set menu. We called a day ahead to reserve and give the restaurant a heads up on our set selection. The food came out hot and fresh. No frills atmosphere, come for the food.

Thursday night dinner with the fam. It was my first time here and was surprised by the third floor dining area. The second floor was packed, so we ended up on the third. Didn’t expect that much space from what I saw on the outside.
Flavors were good and quantity for the price was excellent.
Update: We’ve gone back for dinner a few more times. The in-laws keep complaining about the quality, but keep coming back anyway. I’m perfectly happy with the food.

We came to Won Kok for our Chinese new year dinner. They gave us the entire upper floor even though there was only 10 of us. Service was excellent. Since I didn’t order, I wasn’t sure the specifics of what the dishes were. Everything tasted fine. The highlights for me were the pumpkin crab, pea shoots, fried tofu and the sticky rice stuffed inside the chicken. The bill was around $800+ tip. Good job everyone at Won Kok.

The woman at the front counter on the first floor was very rude to me. When I walked in, she didn’t greet me at all. But when an older man came in after me, she suddenly became friendly, smiling and welcoming—only to him.
I ordered before he did, and we ordered the exact same thing, but she served him first. When she finally gave me my food, I asked for hot sauce. She ignored my request and just repeated the total in an irritated tone with an angry expression, saying “12.45” like I was bothering her. She should clearly say what she’s talking about instead of snapping the price at customers.
The way I was treated felt dismissive and discriminatory, which is completely unacceptable in the service industry. I won’t be coming back. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced

Rude service and an awful experience. The lady at the first-floor takeout counter had a very bad attitude. I also noticed her hygiene did not seem good, which made me uncomfortable. In addition, different customers appeared to be charged different prices for similar orders, which felt unfair and unprofessional. I will not be coming back.

Always have a great meal here. Squab was delicious with nice crispy skin. Cauliflower stir fry is a favorite of mine, tofu with eggplant was a winner, Hot and sour soup was excellent. Love coming here. Service is always friendly.
